I don't think that fair what they have for the final HOH.
The
Celebrity Big Brother finale is set to air on CBS this Sunday, and the way things are going to be structured is absolutely a little bit different — and also very controversial at the same time.
Let's start off with this: There will be another Head of Household Competition tonight and the Power of Veto at some point before getting around to Sunday's show. There will be a quick eviction on finale night and from there, you will see the final four face off for the final Head of Household.
Here is where things get a little bit more controversial — and not in a fun way at all. Whoever wins the final Head of Household will have an opportunity to send two players immediately to jury, which makes this the most important HoH in the entire competition. They can control almost everything when it comes to the endgame and for now, this really seems to be between Ross Mathews and Omarosa. We wish there was a way to get those two facing off against each other in the finale, though it does not appear as though the odds are altogether high that this is going to happen. They are both threats and have targeted each other many times over at this point.
Is this fair? Not in the slightest since it's giving one Head of Household almost all the power and it invalidates the majority of the gameplay until that point. It also could allow for a finalist who didn't really do all that much to get there. (The clear goat at the moment in front of the jury is Mark McGrath, who really has not done all that much to be there other than go along with some of the other people in the game. Marissa Jaret Winokur is probably the second-easiest to beat, but the funny thing is that many of the players left seem to be thinking that she is some sort of jury threat.)
In the end it's understandable why the show is opting for this sort of format for the finale, given that this is the first year of its existence and there is a limited amount of time. Fairness, unfortunately, sometimes goes out the window when you have few other choices.
