Wouldn't it be fun if the girls….Christmas, Alex, and Raven, had a plan to flip everything, and go to finals with three girls for a change?

Re: [Reality-TV-Fanatics] Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Kevin – Josh fight; talking bully tactics (day 69, afternoon)

Canada's is set up almost like ours and has been pretty good every season. UK and Australia are completely different from ours, but I like their setup, too. I watch all 4. Thankfully, they don't usually overlap. If you ever stream TV shows, that's how to find them to watch.

Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Kevin – Josh fight; talking bully tactics (day 69, afternoon)

It didn't take long for the Big Brother live feeds to get ugly AGAIN this afternoon — which, in turn, reminded us why covering this season stinks as much as it does.
Quick, here's a refresher: Jason decided to not play the Power of Veto, which left both Raven and Matt on the block. They went off on Jason for it, and in turn Matt is in total "throw myself on my sword" mode now, doing everything that he can to keep her in the house. He also wants to take a penalty vote and eat the rest of the week, mostly because he doesn't really care to be there and isn't going to do anything to actually preserve the integrity of the game.

Following all of that, Christmas has been super-short and snippy with Kevin this afternoon, an aftereffect of the Paul / Alex plan to be really mean to him in order to get him to break. She got mad at him for asking about where she would be in relation to the pool, claiming it was insensitive because of her injury. From there, Josh became the Josh of Old, and when he brought up Kevin's family Kevin basically threatened to beat the snot out of him. Following all of that, the live feeds cut.
Let's just get to some real talk now — we did find Josh earlier this season to be entertaining and kind of a hot mess. That changed when he started goading Mark to fight with him, and when he was saying mean things about Jessica and Cody to their face. Jess and Cody being awful to Josh doesn't give him license to be terrible back, and he's kept the nastiness going far too long. We don't know him in life, but the context of the game Josh is using bullying as strategy and it's gross. Christmas, Paul, and Alex aren't a whole lot better with some of the stuff they've been doing. Matt and Raven have certainly had their moments.

This isn't a season built on big strategic flourishes or impressive game moves. It's more about trying to make people hate themselves and hate being in the game. Everyone smack-talks and gossips in the house, but we're at the point now where these people are attacking a father of seven for no real reason other than Paul demonizing him for being shady in the game. Kevin has talked some smack here and there, but he's never the ringleader and hasn't been as awful or as personal with his attacks as other people.
In the end, there's a reason why people are reacting so personally to this season: A lot of us have been in that situation in our lives where we feel alone and wonder why everyone is ganging up on us. This is what the house is doing to Kevin now, and he's defenseless now to stop it. He's an outcast, an outsider, and he was probably just on the show in the first place to make money for his family and have a good experience. He hasn't been in a saint in the game, but we don't wish this treatment on him just like we didn't on Cody … and we're less of a fan of Cody's and some of the things he said in there. The definition of bullying is signaling someone out and making them feel less than; there are probably more direct examples of this than any season in history.
So long as this sort of bully-the-underdog mentality exists, Big Brother remains hard to watch. It's one thing when people are making controversial moves with a sense of joy in their hearts, but there is no joy here. It's only meanness, malice, and following he leader. It's depressing, really.

i don't think it would have been a snore fest bc i would assume with the biggest manipulator not being in the house everyone would actually have played the way they intended too & not just been a puppet. guess we'll never know.

Ok so even though you may not be a Paul fan (I am btw) you have to respect this game play and give him props big time.  He totally deserves to win this season.  And if you still don't think so just think about this a moment.  What would this season have been without him???  Total snorefest.

HoH competition in Big Brother episode 32
Settle in for what might be the most infuriating episode to date of Big Brother 19. We've got a Head of Household competition ahead featuring a physical, sprinting competition and yet all six eligible Houseguests will be competing. Not only that, but we're likely about to watch some of the worst dives taken in Big Brother history.
Paul spent the days leading up to this competition convincing the entire house to throw the next HoH comp to his preferred pets and even after watching the last couple get hoodwinked in to falling for his tricks they're all about to line up and do as he says again. It hurts my brain to watch these people try so hard to play so poorly.

Once we get through this disastrous HoH competition it'll be on to the next flop for the night with the Tree of Temptation twist. Remember last week when Paul convinced everyone they were so safe that no one should touch the tree? Well don't let me ruin tonight's surprise then.
Thankfully the episode will eventually end with the next round of nominations and since everyone is playing for Paul this season the result will be what's best for his game. Sigh. It's embarrassing. Truly embarrassing to see so many people willingly dismiss their game for a stranger. Good for Paul, but shame on the rest of these fools.
