Oh NJ is still on stay at home orders too and same here, they just closed all parks and made an order that when you are out grocery shopping or anywhere else you need to go you have to wear a mask (one that you can make, not a surgical or N95 mask because they don't want to take away from those who need it like nurses etc).

Yeah they did that here too. And getting out a little outside I think is important but people ruined it

I'm glad you are okay up there Natalie. The numbers where you are are terrible! Not quite as bad in south jersey but it's getting worse. I was so scared the past two weeks because I was sick with pneumonia and they couldn't test me. But I'm recovered thankfully and the family is healthy. Now they are allowing people to return to work even if they have been exposed so I'm Hesitant to even order groceries.
Jeff I hope your wife's friend is okay.

My wife's friend is still on a ventilator. They are going to try and take her off again and see if she can breath without it sometime soon. They tried once and she could only cough violently. Hopefully she will be able to breath on her own soon. If not does not look good . My wife Jill has been trying hard not to think about it . Praying too .
Her friend Kathy did not have underlying health issues but they delayed admitting her to hospital cause they had no Covid-19 tests .
So she was very weak and very sick by the time she was admitted .

Sorry to hear about your wife's friend.  I hope she recovers and soon.  Yea, I don't think anyone here is thinking this virus is nothing...  I know I've been terrified about it, i'm afraid to even go food shopping but have no choice as delivery slots and pickup slots are all taken for up to a couple of weeks and there's no more to even choose.  My husband has been going food shopping the last few times but that doesn't make me feel any better because I worry for him.  Our numbers here in NJ just keep going up and up and it doesn't feel like there's an end in sight.  We've been locked down for about 2 weeks and schools have been closed for about 3 weeks.

Re: [FunBBGroup] COVID-19 numbers

Oh no, i'm glad you're feeling better.  I wonder if you had coronavirus.  It's sad that there aren't enough tests for everyone who needs it.  Yea, Bergen County is not doing well at all I guess because we are so close to NYC.  We can't even get our groceries delivered because it's so swamped that there are no time slots ever available.  And then I read those who are finally getting time slots, their orders either get canceled or they barely get anything they ordered.  We have no choice but to go to the store (my husband has  been going) and i'm terrified he'll get it every time he goes.  But now we have to wear masks so i'm hoping maybe that helps things if everyone does wear one.
