DWTS 27 Week 2 Part 2 Live Blog and Performance Videos

by
Happy Tuesday Dancing Fans!
Welcome to season twenty-seven week 2 PART 2 of Dancing with the Stars. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews return as hosts, while Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli return as judges.
Las Vegas Night comes to Dancing with the Stars, featuring guest stars Blue Man Group, Boyz II Men and former DWTS winner Donny Osmond.
*I just want to add that as the one year anniversary of the Las Vegas massacre, we are thinking of all of the lives lost that night*
By the end of the night, another couple will be eliminated.
The pros are starting off the night dancing to "Jackpot" with Vegas mainstays Blue Man Group.

To kick off the night, Juan Pablo and Cheryl are dancing to a Foxtrot. – I couldn't tell who was the pro in that dance. JP just keeps getting better!
Len: By and large, first class. Stronger frame, cleaner footwork." Says he will be back next week. Bruno: opening big in Vegas. "Too hot to trot." sultry, top-notch sleekness and elegance. Bruno applauds Cheryl for the choreography. CAI: He seasoned every movement. Lots of pizzaz. Maintained core, beautiful lines. Yummy yummy yummy!
Scores: CAI: 9    Len:8    Bruno: 9  Total: 26 out of 30, 52 out of 60 combined from last night and tonight. – 1-800-868-3408

Voting is open tonight. Make sure you get voting to keep your favorites in the competition for next week.
Milo and Witney are next with a Tango – It's only the second dance of the night and it's already amazing! He looked like an expert out there.
Bruno: It was fire. So focused, so powerful. Off to a fantastic tango. Milo lead and may have whiplash. CAI: I love my job. Milo has quite a range. Len: Hit every nuance in music. The only complaint is his bottom sticks out. Sharp, fast, clear.
Scores: CAI: 9    Len: 8     Bruno: 9    Total: 26 out of 30, 52 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3410

Donny Osmond will be performing next while Danelle and Artem dance a Quickstep – A little too much fluff. She was basically walking but still kudos.
CAI: loved the way Artem used the space. Danelle's first pass was fluid, graceful, elegant. It was touching. Len: It took a while to get started but once it got started it was great. Her dancing complimented Donny's singing perfectly. Bruno: Lucky girl tonight. Looks like she enjoyed herself. Well played.
Scores: CAI: 7     Len: 6    Bruno: 6,  Total: 19 out of 30, 37 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3403

Alexis and Alan are salsaing next! – The contestants this year are incredible!
Len: They were all in. Plenty of rhythm. Working her assets. Final lift wasn't as slick. She is a great dancer. Bruno: She's bootylicious and very very bendy. Cirque du solei meet salsa. CAI: innocent when she dances. Flexibility works for and against her. Great lines.
Scores:  CAI: 8    Len: 8    Bruno: 8    Total 24 out of 30, 49 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3401

Tom announces pros going on tour and to get your tickets at dwtstour.com!
John and Emma are jiving to Elvis Presley next! – To me, the added dancers were a distraction. John needs to loosen up a bit if he wants to stay in the competition next week.
Bruno: Thought it was so much fun. Lost a bit of jive. CAI: thought last night was better. John needs to watch his arms. He needs to own it. Len: Says they did a great job. Two dances in one week is a big challenge.
Scores: CAI: 7    Len: 6     Bruno: 7     Total: 20 out of 30, 43 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3407

Jordan Fisher and Frankie Muniz join the male pros of DWTS JRs on stage.

DeMarcus and Lindsay are joined by Boys II Men next- Quickstep – DeMarcus was a LADIES MAN with that dance! Great job!
CAI: BE careful with shoulders. Hunched over sometimes. Len: complaining about his arm. Lindsay says it's her fault because of the height difference. Liked the dance routine, but perfect the little things. Bruno: On a winning streak. Dashing presence. Star quality. Well done!
Scores:   CAI: 8   Len: 7    Bruno: 8  Total: 23 out of 30, 47 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3404

Dancing a jazz next are "Grocery Store" Joe and Jenna! – He has the fan base to keep him and that's basically what is keeping him.
Len: Held interest. Had a nice mood. Well done. He wants to try the jump Jenna did.    Bruno: good jazz content. Started to tell a story. He still has to come out of his shell. Go for it!  CAI: A little off tempo. Don't stop moving in between. Saw improvement.
Scores: CAI: 6    Len: 6   Bruno: 6    Total: 18 out of 30, 35 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868- 3406

Next up are Evanna and Keo with a jive – That is how you do a jive! Evanna can hold her own!
Bruno: tasty jive. She's become alive, feisty, full of energy. CAI: wonderful. Used every single ounce of movement. A bit ahead of the bear. Len:  a bit cleaner. cleaner, high energy. Thought it was right on time.
Scores: CAI: 8    Len: 8    Bruno: 8   Total:  24 out of 30, 48 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3405

Another Quickstep is coming up from Bobby and Sharna – I was distracted because they cut Hayley Erbert in half but that was really short and Bobby needs to calm down and maybe he would be half decent.
CAI: Bobby is very entertaining but wants him to calm it down to actually see his form and dancing. Len: Las Vegas vibe. Plenty of entertainment. Bruno: Pulling and pushing Sharna. Be gentle! Tone it down.
Scores: CAI:   Len: 6   Bruno: 6     Total: 19 out of 30, 39 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3402

A Paso Doble is next from Nancy and Val – That was really short. Nancy is slowly improving.
Len: Well done. Full of attack and spirit. Finesse was lacking, but there was a lot of fo energy. Bruno: GOT, Pirates of the Carribean and Vikings altogether. Don't throw away shaping of arms. Good attempt. CAI: Fully expanded arms. Matched every line of the dancers.
Scores: CAI: 7   Len: 6    Bruno: 7    Total: 20  out of 30, 41 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3411

Tinashe and Brandon will dance a cha-cha – Love the song choice. Tinashe was the RING LEADER in that dance! You go girl!
Bruno: Have me under your spell. So tidy, mesmerizing. So personal. CAI: incredibly musicality. Generates heat and energy. Picks up momentum. Len: Knockout performance. Terrific. Tad of the sameness about dances. Well done!
Scores: CAI: 9    Len: 8    Bruno: 9    Total: 26 out of 30, 52 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3413

To close the show, Mary Lou and Sasha with a Samba – I told you Mary Lou would step it up. This was her dance!
CAI: She nailed it at 50. So clean. She makes it look easy. Len: So many feathers. That was a proper samba. Loved it. Bruno: They captured the mood of the song, the feel of the dance. It was a party
Scores: CAI: 8   Len:   Bruno: 8 Total: 24 out of 30, 46 out of 60 combined – 1-800-868-3409

Technical difficulty with last night's phone votes. So only online counts

[BigBrother_Survivor] The Voice Season 15 Recap – Blind Auditions 4 Live Blog and Videos

The Voice Season 15 Recap – Blind Auditions 4 Live Blog and Videos

by
The Voice season 15 continues tonight with coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton. Carson Daly returns as host. We're live blogging all the performances here. Watch the coaches build their teams here.
Reagan Strange – 13 – Memphis TN – Meant To Be by Bebe Rexha –  Oh. I see after 15 seasons the show is going with the "I've been watching The Voice since I was a wee little kid" angle-which is actually a thing American Idol does. Hm. She's hoping Blake turns. She loves the way he points at himself. "I love the show so much, actually being here is an amazing thing," Reagan cries. She has a pretty tone, effortless range, lovely head voice. She'll be terrific in a few years. Adam is the first to turn. She's hitting some big notes when Blake FINALLY turns. Adam compares her to Danielle Bradbery. which is actually an apt comparison. Reagan describes herself as a "soul/pop ballad" singer. Blake points out that he won with singers across genres. Adam resorts to begging. But despite all the pointy pointing, Reagan Chooses Adam. Reagan's dad suggested she choose Adam, so she did.

Fousheé – 28 – Harlem NY – Redbone by Childish Gambino – She plays in the house band at the famous Cafe Wa? Her mother was in an all girls reggae band in Jamaica. She and her mother were in a car accident. Hit by a drunk driver and her mother suffered intense head injuries. She's got a very cool vibe. Jennifer hits her button first. Even before she hit that big whistle note. Adam turned after that. Very musical, interesting and unique performance. She's got tons of charisma too. Adam calls that high note her "outer space note." Jennifer admits she herself can't hit those high notes. And she wasn't sure she was listening to a boy or a girl. Foushee Chooses Adam. I'm a little surprised.  She says she connects to his music "and him as an artist."

Blake does a bit where he mocks Kelly's bling by wearing a great big necklace that says "I'm the most loved person here." Kelly calls him a country flavor flav. Ha.

Wyatt Rivers – 22 – Durham NC – River by Leon Bridges  – He's headed to Tulane school of medicine and a Duke graduate. OK so he's super smart. He's always done music, but it wasn't until college that he began writing. When he mentions the "good lord" in his song, he gets a big hand. Still, the coaches aren't turning. Because this is a pretty boring performance. No charisma. I had a feeling when he talked about his pursuit of a medical career that music was kind a sideline. He's another contestant who doesn't understand that a performance needs "big moments" to get a turn.  Kelly said he could be a movie star he's so handsome. "I think you should act!" she says. Blake said he was pitchy on his bigger notes. – No Turn

OH BUT LUCKY FOR WYATT. He is on Kelsea Ballerini's Comeback Team. The first male member of the team.

Chris Kroeze – 27 – Barron WI – Pride and Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughn – Where he grew up is the epitome of small town America.  He and his grandparents graduated from the same high school, and he is raising his kids there. His first trip on an airplane was to entertain troops in the middle east..  Blues riffs on an acoustic guitar accompany his raspy, energetic vocal. Jennifer and Blake turn.  That was an entertaining performance. Adam thought he might be a female? I didn't get that at all. Jennifer admits she almost threw her shoe. Blake calls his singing "electrifying." Chris Chooses Blake. Probably a good match up.

MaKenzie Thomas – 20 – Wallingford KY – Big White Room by Jessie J – She's a returnee from season 14. The coaches were close to turning. They suggested she come back. And she did. Since the show, she's been singing with a gospel group Elevated Praise.  Her vocal is more controlled this time around. She inserts some nice tasteful runs in there. Jennifer turns. She's the only one. Notably, she wasn't on the panel last season. Kelly recognizes her immediately. Adam says her improvement was "tremendous." MaKenzie and Jennifer have gospel roots in common, so this should be a good collaboration. Only Jennifer Turns

SandyRedd – 35 – Chicago IL – River by Bishop Briggs – She has 7 brothers and sisters. Her mother was an amazing vocalist–they were all her background singers. At 17 she had a son. Her mother passed away after her youngest son was born. That encouraged her to begin singing again. She also started a performing arts school for kids. This is an interesting song choice. She's a contemporary Tina Turner. Soulful with a bold rock streak. Good stuff. Jennifer turns first, but then eventually all four chairs are turned. Jennifer tosses her shoe on stage. And then another one. Ha. Then Kelly's jacket. And Adam's shoes and Blake's coffee cup. Kelly is speechless. Blake figures he has no chance. Jennifer wants to meet her family, so they all trot out on stage. "You are like fire," Kelly says. She notes how versatile her sound is. She can help her! Amd Sandy Chooses Kelly! Kelly is shocked. "I can't believe she picked me!" You'd think she's go with the fellow Chicago girl. She was impressed when Kelly said, "I don't care which team you go with, I just want to see you win."
