[Reality-TV-Fanatics] Big Brother 22 All-Stars Recap 09/06/20: Season 22 Episode 14 “Nominations & Basement Twist”

Big Brother 22 All-Stars Recap 09/06/20: Season 22 Episode 14 "Nominations & Basement Twist"

BY DOROTHY GALE ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2020 |

Tonight on CBS Big Brother 22 airs with an all-new Thursday, September 6, 2020, episode and we have your Big Brother 22 recap below! On tonight's Big Brother season 22 episode 14 "Nominations & Basement Twist," as per the CBS synopsis, "Tonight on Big Brother the new Head of Household Christmas will make her two nominations for eviction.  We will also see the Basement Twist.

Now that all the targets are gone in the house, everyone is panicking and hoping that they are not going to go on the block. Nicole is stressed by Kaysar's speech when he left. Cody tells Dani that he is upset, she says Kaysar is disrespectful for saying there was a love triangle. In fact, she is seriously offended by that comment. Da'Vonne is supposed to be in the Slick Six alliance, but she feels like during the HoH competition they were all slinging at each other.

Cody goes to speak to Da'Vonne to do damage control, she is on his radar, but not right now. After he leaves, Da'Vonne says he is a liar and it's war, she is ready to play. Meanwhile, Christmas and Dani are happy that Christmas won HoH. So far, Christmas' targets are Da'Vonne and Bayleigh because she knows they have each other's back. Dani wants to see Da'Vonne and Bayleigh gone as well. Da'Vonne goes to see Christmas to talk game, she tells her that she is not coming after her and respects her game. Enzo goes to see Christmas, he throws Ian, Da'Vonne, Bayleigh, and Nicole under the bus.

Christmas calls everyone to the living and reads them a note. Julie told them on night one that they would discover new rooms in the house that they have never seen before, and the Safety Suite was just the beginning. The Safety Suite is closed, but in the basement, there are three powers and it is the most frightening place in the house. For the first time in BB history three new powers that will be awarded in one competition.

And, they will be competing in total darkness. Christmas is worried because these three new powers could blow up her HoH. Da'Vonne doesn't like this, she doesn't like the pitch dark. The houseguests are all in the basement looking for the powers. They have to find power icons that fit into power podiums.

Tyler finds a secret room, while David finds the "disrupter" power. Dani finds the "replay" power and Christmas finds the "blocker" power. The competition is over, now that the three powers have been found. Christmas tells Tyler that she has a power, they have a final two agreement, so she trusts telling him. She has won the blocker power, which means she can stop herself or another houseguest being named a replacement nominee. She must declare her wish to use the blocker before the nominee is named, in the next three HoHs. Dani has the replay power, this power allows an HoH to play in back to back HoH competitions. David won the disruptor power, he can save one of the nominees and force the HoH to name a replacement – the person he saves will be saved the entire week, and he can save himself. All the powers are good for the next three HoHs.

Dani goes to see Bayleigh and talks to her about the game. Bayleigh tells her that she was told a few weeks ago that Dani was coming after she and Da'Vonne, Dani denies everything. Bayleigh asks where they go from here, Dani says she doesn't know. Enzo walks in the room and Bayleigh asks him if there was talk that Dani was coming after them, he says yes. Bayleigh says she will talk to the people who told her, and she will come back to her. Afterward, Dani gives Enzo heck, he says he was cornered and he doesn't want to be involved.

Dani goes to see Christmas and tells her what happened. Christmas tells Dani not to let Bayleigh poke her. Meanwhile, Christmas doesn't want people to think she is aligned with Dani, because she doesn't want to be in the middle of is. Now, if Christmas puts up Bayleigh, they are going to think she is aligned with Dani. Bayleigh tells Tyler, and now since he is the one to have given the info originally to Bayleigh, it is blowing up in his face. Tyler tries to calm her down, but Bayleigh finds it condescending and manipulative.

Time for the nominations, Bayleigh is the first houseguest to be nominated and Da'Vonne is the second.

THE END!

[Reality-TV-Fanatics] 5-Big Brother 22 All-Stars live feed spoilers: Is Tyler trying to leave?

Immediately following what happened on last night's Big Brother 22 All-Stars episode, the drama heated up on the live feeds in some rather unexpected ways.

What happened? Well, it has a thing or two to do with the idea that Tyler may not want to be a part of the game anymore. He's actually been questioning his place in the house for a while, and wondering as though if he really wanted to be there. He's been raising that question again now, to the point where he told Bayleigh and Da'Vonne tonight that he may suggest that he goes on the block and gets evicted from the game.

Could this really happen? Well, Christmas is HoH and has the Power of Veto — and she also views Tyler as her #1 ally in the game. She may not want to go through with it, mostly because she doesn't want to lose someone who she considers a resource in the game. She may put Tyler in a position where if he wants out, he may ultimately have to quit and we'd have to wait and see what production does in that situation.

As for why Tyler would want to go in the first place, it feels like a part of him just isn't enjoying it. Another part may be him not wanting to be as cutthroat as he was in season 20 and getting himself in a position where he's falling back into that now. It may not be who he wants to be or how he wants to be perceived at the moment.

[Reality-TV-Fanatics] 4-Big Brother 22 All-Stars spoilers: Who won third power, Disruptor?

Entering tonight's Big Brother 22 All-Stars episode, we knew we were going to be getting information that wasn't on the feeds. That's pretty rare for an episode airing in the middle of the season!

There were two powers that we new entering this competition — Christmas had the Blocker power, which allowed her to block a replacement nominee. Meanwhile, Dani has the Replay power, which enables her the ability to play Head of Household again even after having the title — or, hand it over to someone else.

The power that was a mystery was called the Disruptor Power … and David has it! It's the most random thing, given that this was the guy eliminated in the dark at the start of season 21. He has the ability to secretly save one of the nominees at any point over the next 3 weeks. Basically, this feels like it's just another Power of Veto, except it sounds as though it has to be played before the competition. Ultimately, he decided not to use it this time around, likely to save himself moving forward if need be. He's not in a great spot in the game so with that in mind, he may need it.
Ultimately, none of these powers are super shocking or game-altering … even though they were hyped as such leading into the week. David's never had power before, so this in itself could prove to be rather interesting.

[Reality-TV-Fanatics] 3-Big Brother 22 All-Stars live feed spoilers: Bayleigh’s 500 lap punishment

Yesterday's Big Brother 22 All-Stars Power of Veto Competition is the sort that came with a wide array of different punishments, and we're here to give you a good sense as to what some of those are.

The most punishing (pun intended) of the punishments was the one handed over to Bayleigh. She had to complete 500 laps in the backyard with a tricycle — one that, for the record, started to fall apart on her midway through. It was frustrating, but she was able to endure and make it through with a smile on her face. Even though she's probably going to be evicted this week, there was something great about her celebration after the fact.

Ironically, we think Bayleigh complained less about this than Nicole her punishment, which requires her to be dressed as a giant slop-themed cereal box for the remainder of the week. While this does lock Nicole in to having more costume punishments than anyone in history, she already hates it and (of course) has also brought up how much/little Janelle was forced to wear her star during her time on the show.

Ultimately, we predict that today is going to revolve mostly around seeing if Bayleigh or Da'Vonne can convince Christmas to use the Power of Veto and shake up the week … which is probably not going to happen. More than likely, she's going to be too afraid of ruffling any feathers within her alliance or causing a situation where both Da'Vonne and Bayleigh could be coming after her a little bit later on down the road.

[Reality-TV-Fanatics] 2-Big Brother 22 All-Stars live feed spoilers: Who won the week 5 Veto? SPOILER

This afternoon within the Big Brother 22 All-Stars house, the Power of Veto Competition took place. It was one where the stakes were obviously high, but for Bayleigh more so than anyone else. She was up on the block opposite Da'Vonne, and if the nominations stayed the same, she would end up being the target.

With that spelled out, we noted earlier today that she hardly got the worst draw in the world for the competition today. She ended up competing alongside Head of Household Christmas and then also Ian, Nicole, and Dani — and none of these three have done great in competitions so far this season. We don't even think that Nicole would want to win, and Dani probably only would want to for the sake of potential vengeance after a previous face-off with Bayleigh.

The winner of the Veto has been revealed, and it is … Christmas! That gives her all of the power this week, and this is also one of those seasons where there is also a punishment. Nicole has some sort of special unitard, Dani is free from being a Have-Not, and Da'Vonne has $5,000. It sounds as though Ian didn't play, potentially because he wasn't up for it at the time. Also, it was extremely hot outside at the time of the competition and that was another precaution that was taken here.

[Reality-TV-Fanatics] #1-Big Brother 22 All-Stars live feed spoilers: Week 5 Veto players

The Power of Veto Competition is unfolding today within the Big Brother 22 house, and it may be earlier than usual. How do we figure that? It has a lot to do with the fact that the Veto players have already been chosen!

If you missed it last night, it was revealed that Head of Household Christmas had nominated Da'Vonne and Bayleigh for eviction — Christmas acted after the fact as though she wasn't really working with either one of them, even if they did have some game-related conversations here and there. Meanwhile, Da'Vonne did question the notion that there may not be stronger duos in the house elsewhere — there clearly is, with Nicole and Cody being obvious because of the wall yeller.

The HoH and the nominees are playing in the Veto today, and they are being joined by Ian, Nicole, and Dani. This isn't a terrible draw for the nominees by any means, given that none of these competitors are super-physical. Ian may still try to win to protect himself, while Dani may just want to get some element of vengeance after she Bayleigh had some sort of argument yesterday after the BB Basement competition. Nicole doesn't really need to win, given that she is so well-insulated from top to bottom with other players … and she may want to keep an illusion of working with Da'Vonne for a little while longer within the game.
