My wife found out one of her good friends she worked with and lives not far from us has Covid-19 and is on a ventilator.  She is still alive and fighting. This virus can get anyone .

I saw an interview on Stephen Colbert that aired last night, of a man who is in the White House press pool.  Someone in the pool has symptoms, and everything has been ruled out except COVID-19.   Yet they still don't have the results after 8 days.  And that is someone who has been around the president and vice president often.   Hopefully those rapid tests from South Korea get here quick, and a lot of them.

Sorry to hear about your wife's friend.  I hope she recovers and soon.  Yea, I don't think anyone here is thinking this virus is nothing.  I know I've been terrified about it, i'm afraid to even go food shopping but have no choice as delivery slots and pickup slots are all taken for up to a couple of weeks and there's no more to even choose.  My husband has been going food shopping the last few times but that doesn't make me feel any better because I worry for him.  Our numbers here in NJ just keep going up and up and it doesn't feel like there's an end in sight.  We've been locked down for about 2 weeks and schools have been closed for about 3 weeks.

I suspect their numbers are low because they not only acted fast, but they've been in a semi lockdown for months because of the protests.
