Re: [Reality-TV-Fanatics] Jimmy Kimmel Got Shut Down By Megyn Kelly For A Crazy Reason

Personally, while I do love Jimmy Kimmel, I really like it when Ellen or Neil Patrick Harris hosts.

Its up to the Awards show .Do they want anyone to watch? I am sure all Democrats will watch and even the Repubs that are Trump haters.
Of course let Kimmel ruin the awards just like he did this last year and year before.

Jimmy Kimmel Got Shut Down By Megyn Kelly For A Crazy Reason
Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump have constantly clashed since the start of his campaign.
She was so incensed with Trump that she left her job at Fox News to move to the left-leaning NBC.
But despite that, she just shut down anti-Trump talk show host Jimmy Kimmel for a crazy reason.
The Darling Of The Hollywood Elites
Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is the darling of the anti-Trump Hollywood elites.
One of the things they love about him is that despite hosting a late night comedy show he constantly delves into politics, attacking anybody on the right.
Kimmel has a particular disdain for President Donald Trump and has come under fire for his extreme mistreatment of him.
Just in recent months, Kimmel went on a tirade, making fun of First Lady Melania Trump.
He insulted her accent and alluded that her marriage to the President is in bad shape, claiming that she was attempting to tunnel out of the White House.
Those attacks put Kimmel under fire, with hundreds of thousands of people pledging to boycott his show.
But that may not have mattered to Kimmel, who has acknowledged that his numbers went down due to Republicans tuning out of his show, telling them "good riddance."
He also stated earlier this year that Republicans can't host talk shows because they are too stupid.
Throughout this, most in the media have stood by him, because like Kimmel, attacking conservatives and Trump supporters is commonplace in the media.
A Surprising Voice Of Reason
But one surprising television star has gone after Kimmel and called on him to lose a major job.
Former Fox News Host, who now hosts a show on NBC, Megyn Kelly spent some time on her show going after Kimmel.
She pointed out the fact that because he is so anti-Republican that he shouldn't be able to host the Academy Awards.

Kelly scolded the Academy Awards, stating that if they want better ratings they should "really consider stopping the political speeches."
Kimmel has hosted the last two years of the Academy Awards and has seen a noticeable dip in viewership since taking the role.
The likely reason for that dip has to do with the politics injected into the awards, something that President Donald Trump has shot back at.
Donald Trump Dances On The Grave
The 2018 awards, in particular, showed bad numbers.
In fact, they were so bad it was the lowest in history, a fact that made President Trump very happy.
He took to Twitter to dance on the grave of the failing awards in response.
Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump
Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY. Problem is, we don't have Stars anymore - except your President (just kidding, of course)!

It is unclear if Kimmel will host the awards in 2019.
He surely has the support of many people in Hollywood who will almost certainly push for him.
But as for everyday Americans, he probably isn't the best choice.
The fact that Megyn Kelly, who has clashed with President Trump more than almost anybody in media is going after Kimmel shows that there is clear disdain for his over-the-top politics.
Do you think Jimmy Kimmel should host the Academy Awards?

We didn't expect the Big Brother 20 Veto players to be picked so early today — yet, by 9:00 a.m., they were already drawn as the houseguests prepare for a fun day. Zingbot is coming into the house a little bit later today and that's exciting, mostly because a number of these players really need a good zing or two thrown in their direction. We can't wait until the annual "Zingbot is influencing the game" conspiracy theories to come up later. (This is us being sarcastic.)
Anyhow, Head of Household Faysal is planning today, and to go along with that, so are nominees Brett and Scottie. On the Level 6 side, both Angela and Tyler were drawn to play, which is good for Brett's chances to stay mostly because Tyler is a Veto beast. Meanwhile, Scottie got houseguest's choice and picked Haleigh to play, thinking that she would take him off the block.

If we did end up seeing Scottie saved, what would Faysal do? That's going to be entertaining, given that he has told Kaycee, Angela, and Tyler that he doesn't plan on targeting them. He also isn't nominating JC. Sam seems like a possible choice, but he could be influenced to make a larger move. We do think that Tyler would probably play his Cloud power app, mostly just because he doesn't want to risk going home and he knows that Haleigh wants him out.

With Veto players being drawn so early, it's possible that Zingbot could be arriving a little bit earlier than usual. That means we could know the results earlier … or this could be a timed competition where each person goes individually.

Welcome to day 60 in the Big Brother 20 house! We're hoping that there's a lot of fun, crazy stuff that's going to happen over the course of the day, but let's start with what happened last night — especially to Sam.
Briefly, last night there was a scary situation when Brett gave Sam some tuna with some hemp seeds — which first arrived in the house presumably via Kaitlyn's Head of Household basket. While Brett didn't know Sam was allergic, her lips started to swell up immediately after she had it. Everything was taken care of medically behind the scenes and she's okay, but it was scary for a few minutes there.

Beyond Sam's incident, things were pretty much set in stone last night entering the Veto Competition today. As we explain both in the article here and the video below (subscribe for more updates, and check out our playlist), Scottie and Brett are on the block in what has to be one of the most dubious decisions of the season. Scottie, to his credit, was able to figure out rather quickly yesterday precisely what was going on here: This was a nomination that was, in part, about how much time he and Brett spend with Haleigh. Faysal claims that it's because Scottie and Brett are playing the middle of the house, but really it's about so much more than that.
Now, Scottie is in a situation where either he has to win the Veto, or Haleigh has to and then pull him down. Today is a Zingbot Veto, and what's important about that is that these are competitions that these two could actually be fairly good at. There's typically a speed and a puzzle component to most of these and they're both fairly smart. Yet, they're also going be outnumbered and we do think that everyone on the Level 6 side is going to be fairly eager to win this. If they don't, Tyler in particular may be forced to play his Cloud power even if he doesn't really need to do so. (Technically, Haleigh may not even be picked to play.)
