What lies ahead on Big Brother 20 later today? Think in terms of a nomination ceremony that could be one for the ages.
We'll admit that when Faysal won Head of Household last night, we could not think of a single way in which this could go wrong … largely because we didn't even process the notion that he would go completely rogue. Haleigh had such control over him that it felt like his HoH would really just be a modified version of her HoH. Yet, it's turned out that this isn't quite the case at all.
Instead, what we're seeing still today is Fessy decide that he wants to put Brett and Scottie on the block, and his reasoning, as it turns out, is fairly simple: He wants to get rid of the untrustworthy middle. He thinks that getting rid of the liars and the flippers in the middle is better than targeting the other side of the house, but what he doesn't quite understand is that there really is no middle this season. You've got, basically, two fairly-clear sides and Faysal is nominating one of the only people, alongside Haleigh, who has been reasonably loyal to his side. Scottie has on occasion played both sides and been a little shifty, but Level 6 has done a really effective job of making him look like even more of a target.
At this point, Faysal has already explained his nomination plan to Tyler, Angela, and Kaycee, and we personally think that he is the sort of super-loyal dude that he's probably not going to go back on what he said to them. This is a case of classic over-thinking, but also of how well Level 6 and even JC have fleeced Faysal over time to make him think that some things that aren't true actually are. Fessy has a smart priority to get rid of people he can't trust — he just doesn't realize just how large the list really is.
