Tonight's Masterchef recap begins now – Refresh Page often to get the most current updates!
The top four chefs Noah, Sarah, Dorian, and Nick remain in London to battle it out for the top spot. They visit the beautiful famous Hatfield estate and perform the semifinals there.
Three spots remain and one will be eliminated tonight. Tonight they cook for Nigella Lawson a renounced food critic. Tonight's protein dish will consist of a venison dish fit for a King or Queen. The chefs race frantically as they only have 60 mins to prepare the dish. The judging chefs feel as if Noah is over his head by cooking a mushroom risotto and venison loin..
Nick is also worried about his bone marrow venison wrap dish. Sarah is making a venison rack dish. During the halfway mark of the challenge Chef, Ramsay interrupts to add an extra dish to be made as a dessert is a trifle which consists of fruits custard and liquor, it is not an easy dish to make given the time the chefs have to make it.
Noah seems to be giving more attention to his trifle then his venison. All the chefs look worried and rushing to finish up each dish and spend equal time on both the dessert trifle and main course dish of venison.
The chefs wrap up preparing the dishes for presentation and begin to plate their creations. The judges begin to taste and critique the plated venison dishes, up first is Dorian with her cocoa butter-basted venison dish, Chef Ramsay feels the venison is cooked perfectly and done well her trifle wins over Chef Ramsey and Nigella.
Next up is Noah and his pepper-crusted venison loin with mushroom risotto, and the risotto was a fail as he may have taken on too much and over his head, his trifle pleases the judges and he redeems himself. Sarah follows behind and her venison rack dish, judges feel venison is cooked good but lacks flavor. Her trifle dish also falls flat.
Up next is Nicks bone marrow crusted venison which has a problem with the string being still attached, but his dish impressed the judges, they feel his trifle was overwhelmed with liquor. Only three go thru Dorian, Nick, and Sarah. Noah gets sent home the judges felt his dish was way over the top and he did too much without focusing on the venison and the mushroom risotto was a flop.
THE END!

Big Brother 21 Recap 09/11/19: Season 21 Episode 34 "PoV and PoV Ceremony"
BY Dorothy Gale on September 11, 2019
Tonight on CBS Big Brother 21 airs with an all-new Wednesday, September 11, 2019, episode and we have your Big Brother 21 recap below! On tonight's Big Brother season 21 episode 34 "PoV and PoV Ceremony," as per the CBS synopsis, "Tonight on BB we have the PoV competition. With both Tommy and Cliff on the block, they are going to be fighting to win. Following the competition, there will be the PoV ceremony and we will see if the winner uses his/her power.
Jackson nominated Cliff and Tommy, Cliff is just a pawn, but the Veto will determine everything. Tommy says it is hard on his ego to be in the house with four people who successfully blindsided him. It is lonely, clear the way they are hanging out with each other, and it is hard living in fear. He is going to fight to the very end, give them hell.
Tommy is talking to Holly, he tells her that he is the underdog and he is going to do his best. Jackson walks in and they talk about Christie. Holly asks if they think Christie believes here own lies. Holly tells Tommy that she doesn't fault him for being loyal and sticking beside her. Jackson tells Tommy that he was not wrong about Nick, but he may have been wrong about Christie – she went against her own word over and over again, her word meant nothing. Tommy is having a hard time hearing them talk about Christie, and he wants them to know why he was aligned with her to get them on his side.
He tells them that he knew Christie before coming into the house, her ex-girlfriend is in his family and he didn't know about her being in the game until he got there. He goes on to say that she knows his own family and its been hard, he throws in a few tears for good measure. Jackson has a whirlwind of emotions going on in his head and can't believe that Tommy kept it under wraps for 81 days. Tommy is hoping that Jackson and Holly will trust him now that he told them; he really hopes it doesn't backfire and make him a target. Jackson needs to make sure Tommy doesn't win the Veto, this means he has Christie's vote on jury.
Cliff thinks people have underestimated him from day one because of his age, and he plans to give it 100% when he plays in for the Veto. He is in the bathroom talking to himself, "this muscle on your leg doesn't hold up, then so be it, you throw up, you throw up, your heart explodes, your heart explores, but you leave it all on the freakin' field, fight like hell, losing is not an option, demand respect, there is no second place, destroy and conquer, you win."
Time for the Veto completion, this one is comics. Here is how the game works, house guests receive BB comics, they have to match 16 on one side of the wall, with the other. Some comics are fakes with small mistakes, they need to be careful. The houseguests who match the comics in the shortest amount of time will win the POV.
Time to see how every did; Jackson 15:59, Tommy 14:21, Holly 38:22, Cliff 26:32 and Nicole 10:58. Nicole is the winner of the POV. Cliff says that people underestimated him, and they definitely underestimated Nicole. Jackson is so glad that it is Nicole who won, everything should go according to plan. Tommy says it sucks that it didn't win, but he is still not giving up.
Jackson tells Nicole that she is so impressive, he is without words. Then it dawns on Jackson, if Nicole uses the POV, there is only one replacement nominee, Holly – they could backdoor them. Jackson tells Holly she doesn't think it will happen, but on a game level, it makes sense. Cliff and Nicole have a golden opportunity to backdoor Holly and split the showmance. This would be the worst case scenario and he is not so worried that they would do it, but they can do it.
Nicole and Cliff talk and as much as they would like to put Holly on the block, they think that Tommy is a much stronger player and it would make sense to get rid of them. Jackson comes in, Nicole tells him that she is going to use her POV, and no funny business is going to happen; she is taking Cliff off the block. Jackson tells her that she earned it, do as she pleases. Holly walks in and Nicole tells her that she is taking Cliff off the block.
Nicole tells Tommy that Holly is going on the block, so he needs to campaign. Tommy says he is not going to get his hopes up, but thanks. When Tommy lost the Veto he thought he was dead in the water, but not he feels like he has a ray of hope. He reminds Nicole that Jackson is the strongest player in the house.
Nicole goes to speak to Cliff and she wants to show him that keeping Tommy is beneficial for both their games. Nicole tries to show him different synopsis whereby if they get to final three, Holly will take Jackson to final two and vice versa. Cliff is so afraid of making the wrong move, this could cost him a half million dollars.
Time for the Veto meeting, Nicole uses the POV on Cliff. Jackson is forced to name a replacement nominee, and there is only Holly left.
THE END!

America's Got Talent Recap 09/11/19: Season 14 Episode 21 "Live Results 5"
BY Kristine Francis on September 11, 2019
Tonight on NBC America's Got Talent begins with an all-new Wednesday, September 11, 2019, episode and we have your America's Got Talent recap below! On tonight's AGT season 14 episode 21 "Live Results 5″, as per the NBC synopsis, "Only five of the previous night's performers move on to the Finals. Viewers have one last chance to send their favorite performer to the next round by participating in the Dunkin' Save."
Tonight's America's Got Talent recap begins now – Refresh Page often to get the most current updates!
This was the last result show before the Finals! To make tonight as special as possible, the show brought in some amazing guest stars. There was Britain's Got Talent winner Tokio Myers and he played an opening number with Stewart Copeland from the Police (the band). Then there were the many fans that the judges befriended. Howie would find someone that was a fan of the show and he'd get them seats. It also didn't hurt that he had fans nearby when people began booing him.
Last night was a controversial night. It was especially hard on Howie because it made so and that's why the other judges weren't sympathetic. They were the ones that had to watch Howie hang himself. He ripped into contestants that did a fairly good job and he also wasn't afraid to stand firm in those opinions. Even if it did mean no one liked him for it. Howie said what he said and so it must have been great that his new friends as in the ones that weren't booing – were the ones behind him.
Now, onto the results. The top three will automatically go into the Finals and those that were placed in fourth, fifth, and sixth would be subjected to the Dunkin Save. The bottom three were usually the weakest of the group and yet it wasn't this time. This time it was Alex Dowis, Emanne Beasha, and Ryan Niemiller. It was so shocking that these three were in the bottom that the cameras showed the moment everyone's jaw dropped.
Howie was asked about it. He said that he thought at least two of the acts would go straight through and so he was just as stunned as everyone else. No one could believe that either Emanne or Ryan could be in the bottom because everyone had been sure that both of them could win this thing. So thankfully it wasn't the only shocking moment tonight. The other moment was when it came down to V. Unbeatable, Chris Klafford, Dom Chambers.
Again, all three acts were amazing. It was going to be a hard choice and America ultimately went with V. Unbeatable. The dance group had set themselves apart and were serious contenders this year. The shocking part of it was that Dom Chambers was eliminated. He got the crowd with his magic and he could have gone all the way. And so was what is that dragged him down? Was it the beer? Or was it just his onstage personality?
The questions will probably follow Dom for a while. As he was dealing with all of that, the judges were all playing around in the photobooth. They would give random people some prompts and watch them as they took photos of whatever they described. They also sometimes introduced themselves through the back flap that no one knew about. It was a nice way to spend the evening and Howie walked away with someone's credit card afterward.
It was a joke and he returned it. But there were several fund segments with tonight and one of them involved Piff the Magic Dragon. It was great seeing him again. He made everyone laugh and he got to say thanks. It seems after his latest stint with Champions edition, he booked out his whole show and gets to be a grumpy magician to a whole new set of people. It was great news for him. And it also took up time just long enough for the next round of results.
The next round was between Lukas and Falco, MarcinPatrzalek, and Detroit Youth Choir. So, the winner of that was of course DYC. The kids were simply inspirational in the way they kept fighting on no matter what and they inspired generations with their story. Mr. White could only be thanked the once, only many would have liked to thank him a thousand times for what he did for those kids. And the great news kept ongoing.
Voices of Service ended up winning their round with Luke Islam. This was nothing against Luke, except the Voices of Service had a story that needed to be heard and it will happen the longer they stay on the show.
The final round was the Dunkin Save. The first to be saved was Ryan the comedian and the last person was Emanne.
Both will be going to the Finals!
THE END

JT Roach – Somebody to Love – He quit his job after reading a book. JT decided to follow his bliss… JT describes his tune as a "heartbreak song." The chorus is very catchy. His vocal is weak on the falsetto. That would really pop with a great singer. Ryan calls the lyric "classic." He loves the chorus. "Familiar in the best way." He can sing it right back to JT. The chorus also blew Jason away. He would speed up the tempo, but not anything else. Ryan admits the only break up single was their first, "Apologize." They tiner around with the melody. Ester plays with the lyrics in the verse. Ryan wouldn't change much!
Madi – Darkest Days – Songwriter Madi Yanofsky hails from Burlington VT. She's been hustling! Had songs on hold! She's waitressing in the meantime. The song came out of loneliness. Her voice is good, and this melody is gorgeous. Both the verse and chorus are beautiful.. Ryan loves the title and melody. Jason wasn't grabbed by a big "moment." The group works to give the chorus a much bigger hook. Jason wants more pain. Ester wants to make it even darker. Ryan changes up the chord progression to make it punchier. He wants to make it feel euphoric–transform it into a dance record!
Tyler James Bellinger – Giving You Up – Earlier this year, Tyler released a solo EP and single, "Feel Like Home" which "celebrates belonging and acceptance for LGBTQ+ homeless youth. He works 30% of the time with his dad's paving company in Jersey. Shane advises him to move to either New York City or Nashville. He wrote "Giving You Up" for his partner. The lyrics depict a lover who realizes the selfishness of his need to control. Tyler is a good performer! When the chorus explodes, he pretty much nails a high note. Shane felt that he bared his heart. Jason didn't connect to the song, though.. Ryan tries the notes. He can hit them. But they lower the key anyway. Shane dials the arrangement back, giving the song a more paintive feel.
Brigetta – Be Somebody – This 20 year old left high school at 16. She moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting full-time. By age 19, she signed her first publishing deal with Prescription Songs. She's been performing since 5 years of age! She's written thousands of songs ever since. Her song "Be Somebody" is about struggling to find her place in the music business. She's an emotive singer. Ryan "genuinely loves the song." He would change some lyrics, though. Because OneRepublic is already somebody! The lyric surgery begins immediately.
Results: JT Roach, Brigitta, Madi advance to the studio. Tyler James Bellinger is eliminated. That result is not surprising. It was obvious Ryan and James weren't feeling the song.
With Ryan on the other side this week, he enlisted Jason to play producer. Jason teams up with Brigetta. Shane works withJT Roach and Ester collaborates with Madi. Brigetta is so excited! Jason wants to make the song moodier and darker. But he completely changes the concept from a young person finding their way in the world to a straight up love song. Brigetta isn't completely sold on the drastic change. On to Shane and JT's session–in order to tailor the lyrics to OneRepublic, Shane wants to hear JT's story behind the song. Shane explains that Ryan writes from a personal place and it's important to craft a song that's relatable to him. Shane works to make the lyrics clearer. Ryan facetimes into Madi and Ester's session. He is DETERMINED to turn Madi's song into a dance record. Back to Jason and Brigitta– Jason adds an urban touch to the song including guitar and percussion flourishes. Brigetta is now on board. Meanwhile, Ester and Madi lower the song's pitch. And finally, to them, it sounds like a OneRepublic record.
The finished songs:
Madi – Darkest Days – I don't know if I'd call this a dance record exactly. Maybe with a remix, it'll suit the club. But I like this more than I expected. The song retains it's soul, even against a click track. Ryan loves the chorus and the lyric. He's happy.JT Roach – Somebody to Love – This song didn't change much. The underlying production adds some punch. Shane really found a way to improve the song, while staying within its framework. Ryan calls the song "gut wrenching." He's still happily married, but he's surrounded by divorce and understands that pain. He tries out a bit of the song–it fits in his range nicely.
Brigetta – Be Somebody – After Jason performed major surgery on the song's concept, Brigetta is a little wary of the changes. But she really wants Ryan to pick her song. And it shows–she sells the heck out the new lyrics, giving Ryan goosebumps.
RESULTS! The song that "knocked" Ryan "off his feet" is…"Somebody to Love" by JT Roach! with Producer Shane McAnally.
Shane knows Ryan so well–his writing style and point of you–that he knew exactly HOW to change the song to suit the customer. He made only subtle changes, didn't turn it into a OneRepublic knockoff, yet the finished product suited the band. Tailoring songs to fit a "client" is Shane's job, after all, and he does it well!

Yes. Songland is over for the season. But don't cry kiddies. The show has been renewed for a second season. Not a surprise. The ratings were solid and stayed steady over the course of 11 episodes. This show was fascinating to watch. Watching a song receive a major overhaul from world class songwriters is never boring to watch. And, some decent songs came out of the process. I am looking forward to season 2.
