[Reality-TV-Fanatics] Survivor Recap 03/11/20: Season 40 Episode 5 “The Buddy System On Steroids”

WOW didn't really expect that !!!!!!!!The one voted off

Survivor Recap 03/11/20: Season 40 Episode 5 "The Buddy System On Steroids"

BY Dorothy Gale on March 11, 2020
Today everybody drops their buffs and their switching tribes. Rob doesn't like this part of the game, last time he lost control of his tribe when they did the tribe swap. Michelle is now stuck on the tribe with her ex-boyfriend, Wendell.
The new tribes are, Dakai: Jeremy, Sandra, Kim, Denise and Tony, Yara: Sophie, Ben, Adam, Sarah and Rob, Sele: Michele, Wendell, Yul, Parvati, and Nick.
Adam should be happy about this swap, but he is not. At Sele, Nick loves his new tribe, he feels like he won the lottery. Parvati, on the other hand, is desperate to work herself in with her new tribe. Michelle approaches Wendell and tells him that she hopes it is not going to be awkward that they are on the same tribe. Michelle speaks to Parvati about Wendell and tells her that he hurt her in real life and this is not easy. She has to be careful, she was burned once from him and doesn't want to be burned again. If necessary, she will take him out.
Yara is not the prettiest of beaches, Rob gets to work right away to take control of this new tribe. Sarah did not want to swap, she loved her tribe at Dakal. She has the steal-a-vote advantage, but it is not something she wants to use right away. Sophie and Sarah ask the guys questions and they can feel all the tension. Ben tells them about Adam, how he plays all sides at once. Then he goes on to say how Rob controls everything. Sarah tries to align herself with Adam. At this point, there is probably an idol on this beach and it is vital to the person who finds it. Rob is looking everywhere, this is a tough one. He finds that he underestimated the players, but he won't do that anymore.
Time for the Immunity Challenge. They are going to race through a series of obstacles, then use sandbags to knock bags off a ledge and in the final part, they have to carry the large blocks and organize them so there are no repeating colors on any side. Dakal is lagging behind, they are dead last and having trouble with the obstacle part of the challenge. Yara is the first team to start stacking the blocks.
Dakal is fighting to stay in this, the other two tribes have caught up. All three tribes are desperate to win or place second, they just don't want to lose. Sele wins immunity, we are just waiting to see who is coming in second. Dakal wins, Yara is going to tribal council. Rob doesn't think it is a big deal, he has expendable numbers and just needs to decide who is going home.
Sophie feels her game potentially slip through her fingers. Rob needs to work overtime on his men to get one of the women out, he works on establishing trust with them. In order for this to work, Rob tells them that the three of them have to go back to camp together, stick together and have no conversations with anyone else. Rob is smart! Rob is using his buddy system, they cannot let the girls cause any commotion, and he feels like he is bringing the game back in his direction. Ben and Adam know what Rob is up to, but we don't see them doing anything against it. Rob is the godfather, and it is showing so far. The women want to blindside Rob, and Adam and Ben may not be leaving camp to speak to them, but they keep giving them a thumbs up or nod to say that they are with them.
Time for Tribal Council. Adam says that nobody is playing themselves out because everyone is very good. Ben says everyone in this game knows not to poke the bear. Sarah says the mood at camp shifted, the guys wouldn't even speak to her or Sophie all day. She goes on to say that she takes offense to anyone saying there are cracks, there is an opportunity. Rob says that is a good selling point. He was not a tight three from Sele, but the fact is Survivor is a numbers game. Ben says they sat around camp talking, just not a lot of strategies.
Jeff asks Rob what happened, Rob says sometimes less is more. Sophie talks about Rob's buddy system and if the guys are following they are idiots. Rob says people working together win together. Time to vote. Nobody plays any immunity idols. The first vote is for Sarah, then Rob, Rob, Rob. The sixth person voted out. Rob was blindsided.
THE END!

[Reality-TV-Fanatics] The Masked Singer Recap 03/11/20: Season 3 Episode 7

The Masked Singer Recap 03/11/20: Season 3 Episode 7 "Last But Not Least: Group C Kickoff!"

New night and a new set of six celebrities. Three that will be unmasked over the next few weeks. As always we have Nick as our adorable host and judges Robin, Jenny, Ken, and Nicole.

Night Angel is the first up tonight. Her clue package is a motel. She says like an angel she has been blessed her entire life and that doors always opened for her.. The doors respectively are numbers 4,5,6. Behind door 4 are some guys wearing duckbills. She says while fame has sometimes brought her down like a landslide she has always found the light. Behind 5 we have what Robin refers to as "Gangster grandmas". She says her positivity is her best magic trick and the key to her success. Behind door 6 are a bunch of guys partying. She ends the clue package by saying "That boy is mine" and that it's "My Prerogative" to have fun. Night Angel's song of choice tonight is "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi. Robin guesses Taylor Dwayne. Jenny picks Monica. Nicole picks Lil' Kim. My guess is Monica as well.

Next up is the Bear. She says in her life she has both been the hunter and the hunted. There is a radio in the background that says she is positively unbearable (hahaha). She says after years of all the phony-baloney she wants everyone to know who she really is. Hockey Skates are in the background. She says this mama bear is coming out of hibernation. She says she has been a little polarizing but it's to protect her cubs. Lots of French fries in the package. Bear's song of choice is "Baby Got Back" by Sir-Mix-A-Lot. (Going to call it right now guys … it's Sarah Palin). Ken thinks it's Tonya Harding. Jenny thinks Candace Cameron -Bure. Robin thinks it's Tina Fey ( so so so close.) Ken changes his guess to Britney Spears. My Guess is obviously Sarah Palin.

Astronaut makes his crash landing. He says he has always believed in flying high because if you want something enough not even gravity can hold you back. He talks about his home planet (a lei is floating behind him, there is also a broom). He says endless possibilities get his heart throbbing. He crashes lands and says it wasn't a "Pitch Perfect" landing but he is there. Astronaut sings "You Say" by Lauren Daigle. Ken thinks it's Josh Hutcherson. Jenny thinks it's Lance Bass. Nicole thinks it's Zac Efron. My guess is going to be Adam DeVine or Zac Efron.

T-Rex is next. She is sitting on a baby doll. She says like a dinosaur she was discovered and plucked from obscurity and launched into an extraordinary place called T-Rex island. She says she was plucked and taken to a magical world.( there is a paper with N S E W on it the N and W are Circled) she said she was one of the dozens of creatures pirouetting the land. She said it was a sisterhood of fun and friends. (There is a gold U with stars on it ). She says a cataclysmic event that changes her life forever. T-Rex sings "So What" by Pink. Ken thinks it's Kourtney Kardashian. Jenny thinks it's Maddie Ziegler. Nicole thinks it's Rebecca Black. My guess?

Rhino is next and his clue package talks about him having a tough exterior when he is really just a gentle giant. He said when he was young he was the center of attention and when he wasn't the best anymore he crashed and burned. His clue package includes a guitar, a red bicycle, and faith and butterflies. Rhino sings "Have a Little Faith In Me" by John Hiatt. Jenny picks Jason Aldean. Ken picks Tim Tebow. Nicole picks Tim McGraw. My guess Tim Tebow.

Swan is the last one tonight. In her clue package, she says she refuses to be tuned out.. She has played games, lived fame, and seen shame and she claims on this stage where she came you won't know her name. (She loves to talk in rhyme.) There are Vampire fangs, ghosts.) She is someone and no one. I'm rerun and no fun. She is bearing her soul to us. Swan sings "Fever" by Peggy Lee. Ken picks Nina Dobrev. Nicole picks Jennifer Love Hewitt. Robin thinks Sara Michelle Gellar. My guess Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The Bear gets the least amount of votes and is going home. For the final guesses, Nicole picks Christina Applegate. Jenny picks Candace Cameron-Bure. Ken picks Jodie Sweeten. Robin picks Tina Fey. The Bear ………… Sarah Palin.

THE END!

[BigBrother_Survivor] Masked Singer recap: Bear revealed to be well-known politician

Masked Singer recap: Bear revealed to be well-known politician

By Rachel Yang
March 11, 2020 at 08:58 PM EDT
Ahead of Wednesday's episode, The Masked Singer teased the Group C kickoff would end with a "bombshell reveal" and host Nick Cannon said the celebrity unmasked would "totally take your breath away" at the top of tonight' show.
Cannon also said between the six new competitors, they have one Guinness World Record, three New York Times best sellers, and 36 gold records.
So, did the unveiling live up to the anticipation?
We've met 12 contestants so far on season 3, and we got to hear the vocal chops of a whole new crop on Wednesday night.
Cannon presented the show, as always, with Ken JeongNicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy presiding over the panelists' table.
The contestants of Group C were Night Angel, Bear, Astronaut, Rhino, and Swan, T-Rex.
First up was the freaky purple contestant (who looked more like a Nightmare Angel, no offense) singing Bon Jovi's "Shot Through the Heart."
McCarthy dubbed the rendition the "best performance all season," which is a high bar to clear, given the memorable concerts from earlier season 3 contestants like Kitty and Turtle.
Then Bear had some fun with Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back," followed by Astronaut performing Lauren Daigle's "You Say." Next, a T-Rex dressed in Shakespearean garb busted out Pink's "So What," and then gentle giant Rhino covered "Have a Little Faith in Me" by John Hiatt.
Nick called out Scherzinger swooning over Rhino, saying she was developing her "seasonal crush" on anyone tall. Well, he's not wrong (*cough* Thingamajig *cough*...).
Last was Swan, who did her version of Peggy Lee's "Fever." And yes, Jeong guessed she was Bjork. Of course.
Then, the panel and audience voted for their favorite performances, and the contestant voted off was Bear, who turned out to be ... Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska and one-time Republican nominee for vice president. A big clue pointing to her were the mama bear and hockey skates references in the clue package, as well as the image of the aces and kings cards that spelled out AK, her home state. The package also featured a calendar where "Live" was written on Saturday, a nod to Tina Fey famously portraying Palin on Saturday Night Live.
