It was a bold but also rather-scary moment since the guy was really intense during it. Yet, the fascinating thing here is that Scottie actually wants Brett to leave over him, mostly because he realizes that Brett is the calmer, more rational one and therefore the better player of the two. Winston is not particularly-liked by everyone outside of his alliance and therefore less of a threat.

Rockstar seems to agree with Scottie's assessment, and moving forward these two at least have some sort of plan. We do think that there are some people who won't want to vote Brett out, but we do think, in the end, that Scottie will have the numbers provided that Sam doesn't use her power. Given that it expires soon, that is possible.

Speaking of powers, how about we spend a moment now discussing Bayleigh's? Hers certainly has a good bit of power in its own right, given that with it, she (at least based on what she told Faysal tonight) can create her own nominations and replace the Head of Household's prior to the Nomination Ceremony. This is a huge advantage, and may actually be the biggest one since you can influence who goes home. Yet, it's not a full coup d'état since there is still a Veto that can be played and the HoH has the ability to name a replacement nominee. This power can be used until final eight and it does seem like Bayleigh's going to be around for a while. We really like the alliance of her and Faysal — they each need a solid person to work with that doesn't have any romance or drama involved. They could be there for each other.

The week 3 nomination ceremony took place in the Big Brother house early this evening, and we knew entering it there would be fireworks.

In the hours leading up to the ceremony, the plan for Scottie was to nominate Brett and Winston, mostly in that he felt as though this was the sort of thing that needed to be done in order to shake-up the game in a dramatic way. He was right in that they are a powerful duo, but we do think that Scottie has given Brett too much credit for being a good gameplayer than he really deserves. Really, it feels like he is getting him confused with Tyler, someone who is actually a good game-player and really running the game.

Ultimately, though, Scottie went with his plan in hoping to divide up the two bros — which should, in turn, improve his own odds of sticking around in the game. He was apparently pretty clear with his reasoning for the nominations with both Brett and Winston, making it clear that he's not into doing any backdoors and will just nominate his targets right away. Winston's the more bitter of the two, going on about how Scottie voted to keep him and his lying about it. (That's technically true, but we don't know how complaining about it is going to help all that much in the present.)

The Veto will likely be tomorrow, and given that Scottie seems to want Brett out more than Winston, there's probably a little more urgency for him to win the necklace.

As reported earlier, Bayleigh has received the Power App for the week while Haleigh has the Crap App — it's something that involves reading, but it feels like the general purpose with these is to be comedic and not so much detrimental to anyone's game. We think that Faysal really got it the worst, having to eat all of that vegan ham for so many days over the course of the first week.

Who have the power app and crap app recipients in the Big Brother 20 house this week? It's the final week of the BB App Store, and it feels like with that, we're seeing even more proof that the voting patterns for this twist are all sorts of strange.

One of the biggest problems with this particular vote is that it is so easy to manipulate. Basically, it is designed so that the person who is "trending" and therefore the recipient of the power app is the person who gets the most total votes — it doesn't matter if they are the answer to a positive or negative question. With that, Bayleigh fans smartly came up with a campaign so that they just voted for her as the answer to all of the different questions in the game and it seems as though she's got the app this week. There's not a lot of information yet as to what it is, but she's got a chance now to avenge Swaggy C's eviction at some point in the future.

For the sake of parity in the game, we do love this move since it ensures that things are going to be relatively crazy for the immediate future. It's also possible that Sam's power app ends up getting wasted this week — remember, Scottie's plan seems to be to target either Brett and Winston. Given that Sam is reasonably close to both bros and her power has a limited lifespan, it is certainly possible that she uses it this week to save one of them.

Meanwhile, the crap app recipient for the week is Haleigh, which probably comes from the fact that many of her fans voted for Bayleigh instead and she's not noticeable enough to be loved or hated by anyone other than fans of that alliance. We're still a little surprised that Angela didn't get it just because she has been the most irrelevant player in the game over the past week or two.
