On tonight's The Masked Singer season, 3 episodes 13 called "The Mother of All Final Face-Offs, Part 2; After the Mask: The Mother of All Final Face-Offs, Part 2 Part 2," as per the FOX synopsis, "The next four of the remaining singers battle it out in another round of MASKED SINGER smackdowns!

First, we say hello to the panel and there is a guest panelist, she is judge Judy of the music industry, and Lady Bugs mama, Sharon Osbourne.

Round 1 is Frog vs. Kitty.

Frog is singing, "FireBall," by Pitbull. Panel Comments: Nicole: "That performance was lit. it was the perfect song to sing." Sharon: "I just think you are a great showman and your dance moves are so smooth. What are you doing later? I think you are Alfonso Roberto." Ken: "Ken says this all fits, he thinks it is Cat Williams." Jenny: "Tonight, seeing those ice cubes, Oshea Jackson jr." Men in Black bring out Frog's bag from the x-ray machine. There are running shoes, a Japanese flag, ice cubes, and a keyboard.

Kitty is singing, "True Colors," by Cyndi Lauper. Panel Comments: Robin: "You know what is really nice, we see her do it a lot of different ways, go big, go sultry and now break it down and just hear her beautiful voice. And, those kinds of traits get you to the finals, great job." Jenny: "Based on the clues in the last few weeks, I heard High School Musical and Grease, so I am going with Vanessa Hudgens." Nicole: "I was watching a movie with my nieces this week, Ugly Dolls, the character says make your freak flag fly. So, I think it could be Emma Roberts." Sharon: "She is very vulnerable when she sings. I think it is Kate Bosworth" Ken: "Last time she said Robert Redford gave her a big break, it is Kate Bosworth. Kate has two different color eyes too."Men in Black bring out Kitty's bag from the x-ray machine. There is a shield, a dinosaur, a dragon, and an angel.

The panel and the audience decides who won the faceoff in round 1, it is Frog.

Rhino is next.

Rhino is singing, "10,000 Hours," by Dan & Shay & Justin Bieber. Panel Comments: Sharon: "I like your confidence, I like the way you went down to the audience, I am very confused though about who you are. At first, I thought you were Gary Busey, now I think it is David Hasselhoff." Robin: "He said he was a musician all his life, and there was a Grand Ole Opry clue, sounds like he could be Sam Hunt." Nicole: "There is coal in that stocking and he is known to be the bad boy of country, so I will go with Sam Hunt as well." Ken: "I was thinking David Hasselhoff, now I think it is Property Brother's, Jonathan Scott."

Men in Black bring out Rhino's bag from the x-ray machine. There is a seal, a Christmas stocking, a yellow house, and a Tennessee flag.

Banana and Kitty appear in a SmackDown. Kitty is singing, "Unstoppable," by Sia, and Banana is singing, "Brick House," by the Commodores. Panel Comments: Jenny: "This is so sad, it is going to be the last time for one of you on this stage, you both did an incredible job. Obviously you both came to win." Sharon: "I know what you are going through, Kelly went through this, it is terrifying and you both delivered." Kitty says she eats bananas like him for breakfast. Banana says, she has to be "kitty" him with that comment. Time to vote. The winner is Kitty. Banana is going home.

Who do you think I am? Jenny: Brett Michaels – Ken: Brad Paisley – Sharon: Brett Michaels – Nicole: Brett Michaels – Robin: Brett Michaels

Banana has to take it off! He is BRETT MICHAELS

THE END!

Survivor Season 40 Winners at War Week 11 Recap and Live Blog
04/22/2020 Steven Curtis

The episode begins with Jeremy waiting at camp for the rest of the tribe. He says in a confessional that everyone is lying, and he wasn't going to risk going to the Edge of Extinction with an advantage in his pocket.. The rest of the tribe returns, and he's disappointed that Tyson is gone. "Tell me what happened," Jeremy asks, but no one gives him a straight answer. In his confessional, Ben reveals that Jeremy was the target. He says Jeremy is still public enemy number one. Meanwhile, Kim and Michele talk game. They agree it's a mess with so much chaos. Michele doesn't trust anyone, and they are concerned the two of them, Jeremy, and Denise will be the next four voted out.

The next morning, Tony goes looking for a hidden immunity idol. He didn't want to go look for idols in the beginning since it would jeopardize his game. However, he says his patience is working out for him since he is still here. While Tony is out looking for an idol while everyone is asleep, Nick wakes up and walks into the woods too. Nick offers to help search for an idol, but Tony wants to look alone. Tony sends Nick to search by the well since Tony already looked there. Tony keeps digging by the trees, and he finds a wrapped package under a rock. Tony finds a hidden immunity idol!

Later, the castaways have a fashion show for some of the clothes Sarah has made with the items they have around camp. We also hear a confessional from Sarah, and she says she and Tony play the game differently. Tony has a flashy game, but Sarah focuses more on social relationships. We next hear a confessional from Tony. Tony says Jeremy is too likable, so there's no point in keeping him around. He wants to play double agent to get all the info and then blindside them. After his talks, Jeremy and Michele agree they want to work with Tony. They now think they have a majority with five. However, Kim realizes Tony is playing double agent, and she shares her thoughts with Denise. Kim feels like Tony is her biggest enemy.

At the Edge of Extinction, Parvati and Natalie find a clue for the next hidden advantage. After they read the note, they realize it's under the shelter. The shelter is always crowded with people, so Parvati distracts them and takes them away while Natalie searches for the advantage. She finds the wrapped parchment, and she and Natalie read it together later. They learn it's an extortion advantage. They can send it to a player of their choice. The person they pick must hand over as many fire tokens they demand. If the chosen player refuses, then he or she will be unable to compete in the immunity challenge and unable to vote at the upcoming tribal council. Natalie and Parvati are excited about this advantage since it will affect the game. They are torn whether they should try to get as many fire tokens as possible or shake up the game.

We next see Tony read the extortion advantage. At first he's excited, but then he realizes that the advantage is being played against him. He must pay six fire tokens before the immunity challenge, but he does not have enough. He shows the note to Michele, but she does not have any fire tokens. She tells him she spent four fire tokens, but she lies about the advantage. Michele suggests that he ask Jeremy for the tokens, and she takes the note to Jeremy. Jeremy says he's willing to give away one token to Tony. Tony still needs more, so he goes to his real alliance. He shows Nick and Ben the note, and they both offer to give him one fire token with no hesitation. Now Tony has the six fire tokens, so he will be able to compete and vote.

It's time for the immunity challenge.. It's an endurance challenge that requires them to stand on a beam while holding a pole against a statue to prevent it from falling. As the challenge progresses, they will have to step farther away from the statue.. The challenge begins, and Kim is the first to drop her statue. Everyone else survives the first round. Round 2 begins, and Denise and Michele are the next ones to be eliminated. Sarah is the next one out, and she's followed by Nick. Sophie drops her statue next, meaning Tony, Ben, and Jeremy are the only ones left. Ben is the next one to drop, and he's quickly followed by Jeremy. Tony wins immunity! He also wins two fire tokens.

Kim didn't want Tony to win immunity, but she says the bright side is that it puts a target on his back. She has to reluctantly side with the majority alliance's plan to vote for Jeremy tonight. They plan to split the votes between Jeremy and Michele. Later, Jeremy, Denise, and Kim talk game by the well, and Kim throws out maybe voting out Ben tonight. However, Denise reveals in her confessional that she is not down with this plan. After Jeremy walks away, Denise and Kim agree that they just have to go along with voting out Jeremy tonight. Meanwhile, Jeremy tries to rally votes against Ben tonight. Jeremy says Ben was his friend at first, but now his presence annoys him. However, Tony has another idea. Since he has immunity, he feels like he can flip between the two alliances. He says Sophie is getting too close to Sarah, so he wants Sophie gone. Tony says Jeremy and Michele won't have a choice after he tells them what's truly going on, so they'll have to go along with his plan to vote out Sophie. Tony talks alone with Nick about voting for Sophie tonight, and Nick tells Tony he is on board. Tony is excited, but he still needs to tell Jeremy and Michele. Right before tribal council, Tony tells Jeremy the plan. Jeremy is unsure about Tony's plan, especially since he wants Ben gone tonight. Jeremy just wants to vote for Ben tonight, and he is unsure if Kim and Denise are really against him. He's reluctant to go along with this new plan. Tony is begging Jeremy to agree to his plan since it will save him, but Jeremy doesn't realize he's in trouble. Tony says in his confessional that if Jeremy does not vote for Sophie tonight, then he'll be the one going home..

It's time for tribal council.. Jeff asks the feeling about two advantages and an idol being played at the last tribal council. Sophie says it was a kick in the pants since no one can truly feel like they know what will happen at tribal council. Ben adds that he had no clue about the advantages or the idol. He's just waiting for another bomb to drop tonight. Jeremy interrupts and says everyone is only saying half truths. Jeff asks about the reasoning behind these moves, and Sarah says they are trying to build their resumes to win the $2 million. Jeff asks if big moves can backfire, and Nick says it could since you can become the next big target. Sophie says no one wants a resume that's very long. She says they should be making moves that benefit their game, and they need to recognize if the moves they make have any sense. Jeremy says it's all about timing. He says you can't make a move too early. Jeremy says he did his detective work, and he realizes he would have been voted out if he did not use his advantage last time. Jeff asks about the feeling tonight, and Jeremy says he is not comfortable. Ben and Michele add that it was very quiet today. Michele says she was told a plan, but there was no scrambling today afterwards. Sophie says she thinks everyone is feeling comfortable tonight. Tony says they just put a plan into motion today since everyone was exhausted from the last tribal council. Jeff asks the feeling about pulling off a blindside, and Sarah says it's a sense of pride. Afterwards, it's time for the vote.

Jeff reads the votes. The first vote is for…

Jeremy
Michele
Jeremy
Michele
Jeremy
Sophie
Sophie
Sophie
Sophie

Sophie is the thirteenth person voted out of Survivor: Winners at War. "No! Idol in my pocket!" Sophie bemoans. She is clearly blindsided, but she gives them props on the game move. After she gets her torch snuffed and walks away, she bequeaths her remaining fire tokens. She has two fire tokens, and she gives one each to Sarah and Kim.

And that wraps up tonight's episode of Survivor.

[Reality-TV-Fanatics] Jeff Probst on Tony's three days of Survivor dominance

https://ew.com/tv/survivor-jeff-probst-winners-at-war-tony-vlachos-episode-11-interview/

Jeff Probst on Tony's three days of Survivor dominance

By Dalton Ross
April 23, 2020 at 12:01 AM EDT

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: In this one episode, Tony found an immunity idol, got three different people to give him Fire Tokens when he was hit with the Extortion Advantage, won his second straight immunity challenge, completely flipped the vote by breaking people off from different alliances to take out Sophie and, in the preview for next week, was seen up in the trees in a SPY NEST! I've talked enough about how much I love Tony Vlachos. Now it's your turn. GO!

JEFF PROBST: Okay, yes, we love Tony!! But…let's start with how we approach our episodes from an editing standpoint as it will give some context to how we end up with an episode that features one player so prominently. We always start at the end and work backwards. We start with who is voted out, then we identify the players responsible for the vote out, then we look at the impact the immunity challenge may have had, etc. We continue this process all the way back to the tribes returning to camp from the previous Tribal and how the fallout of that vote may impact the next vote. That's our process.

When we laid this episode out, there was simply no getting around the fact that Tony drove the entire episode. He was instrumental at every stage, and as a result he got a lot of screen time and a lot of interviews. I say this because we really want our audience and the players to understand, it's not about favorites, it's about which actions are directly related to the vote. We always do our best to spread the wealth in terms of interviews as well as who is featured from one episode to the next. But, ultimately, all of that must be secondary to us telling the most authentic and most entertaining version of what happened.

This season has been like no other. The amount of material we have to work with is enormous. We have 20 great storytellers and 20 great players. We've never had it this good. We have had 11 straight incredible episodes and yet we still have an abundance of amazing material we had to leave out due to time.

Okay, back to Tony. It really was quite a display of so many different layers of game play. He hustled to find an idol, he persuaded to get Fire Tokens, which made the Extortion disadvantage powerless, which in turn allowed him the opportunity to compete in — and win — the immunity challenge, and then he used his big picture awareness to maneuver relationships where he needed them to go to drive the vote! If you're a fan of this game, you have to acknowledge that it was a pretty dominant three days of Survivor.

But just let me say this one more time… never forget that every single player in the game and on The Edge are playing just as hard. Everybody has their own style. Some are flashy, some are quiet. Sometimes you have had to lay back and take your foot off the gas, and other times, like when you get an Extortion Advantage played against you, you have to get really creative, really fast and go for broke.

After being voted off and arriving at the Edge of Extinction, Sophie said she went into this season always thinking of herself as a bottom tier winner. I've always thought Sophie to be incredibly smart and incredibly underestimated. What did you see from her out there this season?

I am in total agreement with your assessment. I have always thought Sophie was vastly underrated and that it would work to her advantage this season because there are so many shiny players who call attention to themselves. She is one of my favorite winners because of her stealth mode. She has an incredible ability to seemingly disappear even though she's standing right in front of you, listening to every word you are saying. She is very competitive in challenges and she rarely plays from an emotional standpoint.

Her self-assessment is a surprise to me, and, I would bet, to most fans. I don't think she is seen that way at all. As far as this season, I feel like we are seeing an even more mature Sophie. And more playful! It's one of the really fun parts of Survivor for me, is that I get to watch these people grow and change over the years. Getting voted out with an idol has got to be painful, but I do think the great players understand that you must risk to win, and sometimes when you risk, you lose. Sophie should not be underestimated on The Edge.

Tyson said something pretty fascinating at the Edge of Extinction that really struck me. This is a season of all winners, but he provided a window into what happens to some people who don't win, telling Wendell that, "Some mentalities can handle it, and some can't. It can ruin people's lives to lose the game. There are a lot of people that go home and struggle with it for years." In terms of the psychology of losing, have you noticed over the years that it is a bit easier for someone who has already won the game to get voted out because at least they have that win under their belt, or are they almost more jarred by the experience because they have been used to things going their way in the game?

Great question. I definitely don't think that getting voted out is any easier after you have already won the game. In fact, I would guess it's exponentially more difficult because of the fact you've already won. To go an entire season and never get voted out is like playing a perfect game. When you do that the first time you play, you fully expect you will do it again. You can't imagine the other because you've never experienced it. It's kinda like the episode of Seinfeld, where there is only one-first class airline ticket and Jerry argues he should be the one to get it because he's the only one who has ever flown in first class, therefore he's the only one who will know what he's missing.

I thought Tyson's words were quite powerful because they speak to the enormous emotional toll this game can have on a player. I've been saying it a lot this season – these players are letting us watch them in their most vulnerable states. There is nowhere to hide. This game is enormously difficult. Almost indescribably hard. The physical challenges are beyond demanding, you can't trust anyone, your cognitive functions are challenged. It depletes a person on every measurable level. And then if you lose on top of it, you might second guess yourself for years.

With every passing season, I gain more respect for those who have played. I have learned so much from them about the courage to live a life on your own terms and not someone else's. When someone agrees to play Survivor, it tells me they are yearning for an adventure and they are confident enough in themselves to take it on, with no idea where it will lead or what they will learn about themselves.

I got so caught up in the Loved Ones visit last week I forgot to run a quick procedural question by you which has been asked by many fans since over social media, and that question is this: Had Sarah, in fact, gone before Jeremy last week and used her vote steal to take Jeremy's vote, and Jeremy had then used his Safety Without Power advantage — which means he lost his vote — what would have happened? Since Sarah had used hers first and now possessed his vote, would that vote still have been live, or would his advantage then have made that second vote of Sarah's null and void?

It's a great question, I am so glad you asked. In the case of advantages being played at Tribal, it does not matter who goes first. So if Sarah had gone first and stolen Jeremy's vote, and then Jeremy used his Safety Without Power and left Tribal, I would have gone back to Sarah and said, "Well, you can't steal Jeremy's vote, so now whose vote do you want to steal?"

The reason is that Jeremy's advantage is not intended to nullify another advantage. So it would not be fair to Sarah. Now, looking ahead, if advantages get more specific in terms of when they must be played, or if they can be nullified by another advantage, etc… then you might have a situation where one advantage can impact another.

Again…A SPY NEST!!!! What else can you tell us about next week's episode?

I wish we could just play it tonight. It's that good. I can't believe that I'm the person who gets to sit across from these players every night! They are absolutely killing it. Game-play at a level we have never seen in 20 years. We are in the middle of what will probably forever be known as The G.S.O.S.O.A.T.

Banana is going home..

Who do you think I am? Jenny: Brett Michaels – Ken: Brad Paisley – Sharon: Brett Michaels – Nicole: Brett Michaels – Robin: Brett Michaels

Banana has to take it off! He is BRETT MICHAELS

THE END!
