Welcome to the morning of day 25 in the
Big Brother 20 house! We're about 25% through the season so far and we have to say that, overall, it's been rather great! You've got clear underdogs, people trying to control the house, and a lot of defined characters. While there are some casting misses, there are a lot of interesting people and there's a chance for a
really dramatic week to date.
Before getting into the Veto Players, let's touch briefly on one crazy thing that happened in the game overnight: Sam deciding that if there is a need for a replacement nominee, she wants it to be her just so that she can get rid of her power. It only has two weeks left, and she would rather use it on herself potentially than have someone else get it in the event it is used by default next week. This is still a rather-crazy idea, mostly in that there is no guarantee Sam plays it and gets back into the house. Also, Brett and Winston aren't the sort of players who will be forever indebted to her if she ends up saving them on accident by her doing this. We love Sam as a person in the game, but we'd rather she just hold onto it this week over doing something crazy.
Ultimately, though, we know that many people just want to keep the nominations the same, and that is where the Veto player draw comes into play.
Veto Players – Joining Head of Household Scottie in the competition this week are nominees Brett and Winston and also Rachel, Rockstar, and Tyler. It doesn't benefit Tyler that much to win this, so really he should throw it. Really, this is going to be a weird competition since it depends entirely on what it's about. If it's mental, Scottie may have it — but Brett is also far more intelligent than he's let on. If it's physical, the bros are in a good spot.
