  'Celebrity Big Brother' Recap: A Big Move Against 'Crazy' Shannon

The second live eviction of Celebrity Big Brother was crazy as a plan to backdoor Shannon Elizabeth was called off at the last second because Keshia Knight Pulliam's breast milk had depleted and she asked to be evicted. Despite Brandi Glnaville's claims that they would NEVER get another shot at Shannon, this episode proves that there is another shot and this time, the HGs aren't going to mess around with convoluted backdoor plots.

Instead, the new HoH makes her intentions very clear, and slowly but surely, Shannon comes to realize that she's nowhere near as safe as she thought she was.

What Happened with Keshia?

Because the PoV and eviction went so quickly, the show flashes back to explain what really happened with Keshia. We see that two hours before the eviction, Keshia begged to be evicted despite Marissa, Ross, Brandi and Ariadna having a solid backdoor plan to take out Shannon.

None of them wanted to take out Keshia because they were laser-focused on Shannon. Brandi said that Keshia was ruining her game and she's pissed at Keshia for coming on the show in the first place, knowing that her baby was an issue. Brandi and Keshia discussed needing to feed their kids. It's insane that Keshia had to campaign this hard to be evicted and Omarosa is upset that Brandi tried to save her.

The whole ordeal wakes Metta up because he's upset that these people listened to Keshia to take her out, but they didn't give him the same respect. Now he wants to play hard to get revenge on the people who didn't evict him. This is so backwards.

After the eviction, James and Shannon confirm to Ross that they're committed to their Final 4 with Marissa. Ross just plays dumb, because that is obviously dead, they just don't know it yet.

The HoH Competition

It's a miniature golf game where they must sink three holes-in-one from three different tees in the fastest time, with fans blowing at them.

Brandi goes first and finishes in 5:56. Shannon goes second and gets the first two quickly, but takes a lot of time on the third, curved path. She still takes the lead at 3:04. Omarosa and Marissa go next and fail to beat Shannon.



Ariadna struggles at first, but then comes back and finishes in 2:18. Everyone celebrates loudly and it's a little obvious.

Metta loses and then Mark throws it because his entire strategy is to float. I love how open and honest he is about being a floater. James is last and he does well, but he literally loses by 1/100 of a second, sinking his final putt just after time is up. Wow, that's as close as it can get. And James has finished in second place in every single HoH competition, which is the worst thing you can do. It makes him look strong without gaining any actual power.

Ariadna is the new HoH.

James and Shannon are happy she won because they think Omarosa is the target, clueless to the real plan. Brandi is excited that she's in charge because now they can take out Shannon, "the ice queen."

The Plan

After the HoH competition, Omarosa celebrates with Ariadna and Brandi. Brandi wants to backdoor Shannon and Ross does too, suggesting that Omarosa and Metta be the decoy nominees. Shannon and James are blissfully ignorant, thinking that Omarosa and Metta will be the nominees as the actual targets.



Metta claims that he's going to unleash the beast and play hard now. He suggests nominating Shannon and James right away. Ugh, is the show seriously trying to give him any credit for this move? Taking out Shannon and James was the plan of the big group long before Metta started playing.

The power group of Ariadna, Brandi, Ross and Marissa meet to say that Shannon is target #1, but James is the back-up. They decide to just put them both up right away to ensure that one goes home no matter what. These four are running the game and no one else even matters at this point.

The Nominations

Ariadna is terrified of being alone with Shannon, and Brandi and Marissa support this fear by hiring Metta as her bodyguard. They keep talking about Shannon as if she's the scariest monster ever. They keep saying that Shannon is crazy, as if repeating it will somehow make it true, but thus far Shannon has done nothing crazy as far as I can tell.

Shannon is smart enough to know that she's being talk-blocked from the HoH and no one is looking her in the eyes, so she figures out that she's being nominated. She tells James and goes to her bed, effectively giving up because she feels like she's being vilified and isolated, which she totally is. James gives her a pep talk to keep fighting.

Before the ceremony even starts, Brandi and Shannon get into a fight because Shannon knows she's about to be nominated. Shannon calls Omarosa a liar and is upset because she never betrayed her group. Omarosa accuses Shannon of throwing her under the bus to Keshia while she was in the hospital.

When the ceremony starts, Ariadna nominates James and Shannon. James likes his photo while Shannon is checked out. Ariadna says they're just the two best competitors in the house.

Ariadna isn't afraid to make big moves, James is cocky that the person who nominates him always goes home next. Shannon cries and has no fight left. Omarosa gloats about how Shannon is so manipulative and deceitful.
