[Reality-TV-Fanatics] 'Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers' Recap: Who is the Secret Double Agent?

Well I wasn't looking for the first vote off to be who it was. I think it was silly for Mike to play his idol but I think he was thinking he got people mad at him so they would vote him instead of Joe. But ok then.
I was wondering if ,on the second vote off if Ben was going to be voted off. I thought Lauren maybe flipped.  They are going to have to start looking at Lauren as IMO she is the strongest player. I think I would like to see her win
I wonder if the cast aways need to have weekly weight checks Ryan looks like he is just so thin . Cant be healthy.

'Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers' Recap: Who is the Secret Double Agent?

Last time on Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, Dr. Mike made a big move by playing his idol at tribal council, but it seemed to have no actual effect on the game. That was a confusing tribal council, and in the end, Cole was voted out, much to Ben's delight.

This episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, "Buy One, Get One Free," once again has everyone wondering who is loyal, and who is just making a play to get further in the game. There are nine tribe members left, and the two remaining Healers, Joe and Dr. Mike, are clearly in danger.

Dazed and Confused

Back at camp, everyone is buzzing about how Dr. Mike played his idol and caused chaos at tribal council. Dr. Mike has reasons why he played his idol, and I do see his point. He was afraid that Joe would be voted out, and he didn't want to leave the game with an idol as his parting gift. Joe would have liked to have been in on the plan, and it seems that all hope is lost for the last two Healers. Dr. Mike somehow remains optimistic about his chances to win the game.

Reward Challenge

In this challenge, the contestants will only be using their feet. They must untie a rope, which releases a set of blocks that they must put in a multi-level circular arrangement with a flag planted in the middle. (Seriously -- who invents these challenges?) The winner will be taken an aerial tour of the Sacred Island, and will dine on cheeseburgers, french fries, and cold beer. Lauren and Dr. Mike have an early lead, and Lauren wins the reward. She decides to take Devon, Ben, and Ashley with her. Lauren states that the "round table" alliance is about to implode.

The giddy winners enjoy the sea plane trip, especially when they fly over the beach and Joe moons them. The group talks strategy and decides that they will target Ryan, Chrissy, and J.P.  They want to get all their cards on the table, and Devon shares that Ryan has an idol. (Can I just say how much I miss the bro-mance between Devon and Ryan?) Lauren tells the group about the secret advantage that gives her an extra vote. Lauren wants Joe and Dr. Mike to stay around a while longer, but Ben and Ashely are tired of Joe. Ben finally agrees, and they solidify their new alliance with a toast.

They get a welcome, and emotional, surprise when they discover letters from home hidden underneath a pile of hamburger buns. Lauren, who is a single mother, gets a letter from her daughter, which reminds her that she wants to win so that she can create a stable future for her child.

Back at Solewa, Joe and Dr. Mike decide to antagonize the starving members of the "round table" by dubbing themselves the "coco nuts." Chrissy and Ryan start to plan who they will be taking out after Dr. Mike and Joe, and they have settled on Ben. This duo basks in the certainty that the alliance of seven will hold. But will it?

The next morning, Ben talks about his love for his wife and two children, and he credits her for saving his life. He notices an "X" mark on a rock, and unearths a map of the island with a clue to find the "clay pot immunity idol." He relies on his training as a Marine to find the idol, and he decides to keep it a secret from everyone.

Immunity Challenge

For this challenge, players must balance on a triangular perch above the water, and move their feet up on increasingly narrow foot holds. Jeff has a tempting offer for the contestants--they can skip the challenge and instead indulge in peanut butter and chocolate. Ben, Lauren, and Devon decide to enjoy the food and give up a shot at immunity. This challenge looks incredibly difficult with the movement of the waves. The first tribe member that falls is J.P. In the end, Ashley claims immunity.

The new "alliance of four" talks to Ryan and Chrissy about voting out Joe or Dr. Mike. Devon notices how confident and drunk with power Chrissy and Ryan have become, and he is eager to put an end to it. He comes up with a plan for Ben to vote for Mike, so that Chrissy, Ryan and J.P. will thinks that Ben is still with them, and Joe and Dr. Mike won't know that Ben is part of the "alliance of four." Ben agrees and settles in to his new role as a double agent.

Tribal Council

Chrissy complains about the "coco nuts," and Ryan touts the strength of the "round table." The last two Healers continue to act as if they are on the bottom. Dr. Mike gets three votes, but J.P. is the tenth person voted out. Chrissy, Ryan, and Ben are stunned. Ben is a convincing actor, and should win an award for his performance during the fiery tribal council. This must be the best blindside of the season so far.

Once the shock has worn off, Chrissy demands to know what happened. She is even more upset when the "alliance of four" refuses to answer any questions about when the vote plan was changed. Ryan hides his fury and tries to act gracious to the powerful new group. Joe also acts as if blindsiding J.P. was his idea, which angers super-secret agent Ben.

Ryan is blown away that Devon, who has been in alliance with him with since the very beginning, kept him in the dark about going after J.P. Ryan is unfamiliar with the sensation of being an outsider on the tribe, and he doesn't like it. Meanwhile, Devon is basking in the glow
of being a secretly intelligent and powerful player under that easy-going surfer exterior.

Reward Challenge

Two teams of four players must swim to a boat, then paddle to shore while grabbing three bags of logs. The players will use the logs to shove puzzle pieces through a tunnel. Players must then complete the puzzle, and they are playing for an awesome reward -- a spa day! The winners will get a shower, a massage, and a lunch of veggie wraps, chicken, fruit, and key lime and pecan pie. The Red Team consists of Chrissy, Dr. Mike, Lauren, and Ryan. Devon, Ashley, Joe, and Ben make up the Blue Team. Gathering up the puzzle bags is difficult because they are quite heavy. Chrissy and Dr. Mike work on the puzzle for the Red Team, while Ashley and Ben represent for the Blue Team. The Blue Team finally claims victory, and the relaxing spa day.

Ben jokes around about being "King Arthur," and the leader of the "round table." I must give Ben credit for continuing to pull of an amazing performance. Poor Joe finally thinks that he is out of danger, but little does he know that he is being played by Ben.

Back at Solewa, Ryan scrambles to win Dr. Mike over to his side. The good doctor believes that he is now part of a winning alliance, and reminds Ryan that Ryan was never interested in working with him. Chrissy approaches Lauren about strategy, but Lauren stays mum. My, how the mighty have fallen!

Immunity Challenge

It is a rainy and cold day at Solewa, and the weather matches everyone's mood. Chrissy is hungry, tired, and desperate, but she is not giving up.

This challenge involves using a driving wheel to push a key on a clay pot through a set of obstacles such as a balance beam and see-saw. The contestants will use the key to unlock puzzle pieces to solve a crazy word puzzle. Ben and Devon have an early lead getting the puzzle pieces. This puzzle stymies most of the contestants. Chrissy snags immunity by spelling out "invulnerable." She explains to Jeff that she has waited sixteen years for this moment, and she cannot contain her joy.

The "alliance of four" decides to vote out Joe, and concoct an elaborate cover story to split the votes between Ryan and Ben. They also tell the two Healers that Lauren is going to use her extra vote at that night's tribal council. I honestly do not know how they can keep all these stories and plans straight. Of course, Lauren has no intention of using her vote. Chrissy and Ryan tell Ben to vote for Devon or Ashley. Ben encourages Ryan to play his idol.

Ashley and Lauren discuss how powerful Ben is in the game, and how dangerous it would be to take him to the final three. Ashley pitches their idea of voting out Ben to a shocked Devon, who is on the fence about voting out either Joe or Ben.

Tribal Council

Joe remarks that the best way to test an alliance is at tribal council. Ben states that he believes that he, Ryan, and Chrissy are on the bottom of the tribe. Dr. Mike and Joe think that Ben mismanaged the "round table" and that the alliance that they are now in is strong.
Everyone votes, and Ryan plays his immunity idol. Ashley gets two votes, but in the end, Joe is voted out of Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers

Did you think that Ben was going to be voted out? Do you think that Joe was really a big threat?Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
