Re: [FunBBGroup] Jane Fonda Snaps at Megyn Kelly Over Plastic Surgery Questions

What is the matter with YOU?? SIGH I SEE ONCE AGAIN I HAVE TO DEFEND MY ACTIONS TO YOU EVEN THO I SHOULDNOT SINK DOWN TOT HAT LEVEL BUT THIS IS CRAP
LOL Carrie you knew I was the poster that c/p this article and highlighted . I highlight many of the articles I send to this AND MANY OTHERS.

I even had someone else read this JUST to make sure I was reading it correctly and she agreed that you were in fact trying to be coy and saying this (First, it's annoying as check that these writers of these things sent to this email group choose, repeatedly, to highlight phrases or change the color of words or sentences.

It can be played anyway anyone wants it and innocently think oh I misunderstood and I was wrong for assuming you meant me. I am the ONLY one here in this group that highlights several things .

And then you innocently say  If you would have been talking about me yadda . and this group. DUH!
Maybe keep track of what you say before *forgetting what you said*
It's annoying and distracting to me, and I have asked others, they feel the same way

That's fine if Natalie wants to stick up for you that's not my concern . Just please don't back pedal. because it makes one look silly.
LOL no you didnt specify THIS group you just said to MY post how you have talked with others and they are just as annoyed ,. Ummm No ..back pedal.

duh also I have in the past admitted that I have sent something here before that COULD been considered POLITICAL DUE TO MY REPLY I POST IN REPLY TO
THE ARTICLE. THEN I COULD BRING UP THE ONES THAT YOU FELT THE NEED TO MAKE IT POLITICAL ON AT LEAST 3 OCCASSIONS . SO DONT TRY THAT CRAP BECAUSE THAT WONT FLY.  So don't even try going there with your holier then thou attitude.
So yes I DO step up. Over the past year yes A FEW OF THE ARTICLES  I sent were in fact made pol8itical just by MY comment because I send to several places and this one is the only one that complained . So I have tried to watch what resp9onse I put on a article I send.
I could care less what goes on in FB.
In 17 years on yahoo groups I have had people write in all caps. write in pink yello0w red blue purple. I have had to decipher what some have said due to typos or in one care a dyslexic . I simply DONOT COMPLAIN.
Your dislike of me is noted and you will find something wrong with anything I post . Just admit it. Ignore me. Good grief I am in one gro0up where I cannot stand this one guy? He is an obnoxious jerk but you know what? HE DOESNT KNOW HE IRITATES ME TO know end .. WHY? Because I just ignore him. I don't make a big mountain out of it.

Yes I realize Natalie and few others are on your side and will not SEE what is going on and that is fine. Even if you are in the  wrong I realize they will not side with me and that's fine. This is not a popularity contest. I send articles here that I THINK might be of interest. Reply tro them Don't reply to them  Easy peasy.
Now yes I will give YOU the last word because THIS IS JUST SO STUPID AND ONE OF US HAS TO STOP THIS CRAP.

unless IT IS A RULE THAT HAS NOW BEEN PUT IN. I WILL CONTINUE TO HIGHLIGHT WHAT I CHOOSE.  If the owners don't want anything in caps or highlighted using a different color etc then they need to let me know because I DO try to f9ollow the rules.

You are correct Natalie.   Had I meant CG herself, I would have said CG instead of the writer of the article.   But then, after reading her response, I began wondering if CG isn't, in fact, the author of those stories.
And because it apparently also needs clarifying, I never said people on this list find it annoying.  I wasn't aware I had to be so specific, I assumed, incorrectly, that reading comprehension by some was higher than it apparently is, so....on Facebook, a social networking website, people can be friends with each other.  When a person you have added as a "friend" on Facebook posts (writes) something, you can see what they wrote, depending on privacy settings for that particular post.   Then, their friends on Facebook, which include you, can comment on this post, and you are able to have discussions on Facebook with both your friend and their friends if you so desire.   A friend of mine posted, "venting" about writers of articles (not those who copy and paste the article, but those who actually wrote it) highlighting with either background color or different font colors, specific sections of the article they have written that they choose to highlight.   Many of my friends friends agreed that they do find it distracting and or annoying.
I've re-read my reply several times, and don't see where I brought politics into it.   I didn't even mention politics.  I mentioned science.  That's not politics though.
And CG, thank you for finally admitting you were posting "objectionable crap".   It's nice to see you finally take ownership for posting all those political things over the last year, instead of your usual "but YOU made it political, not me, I just emailed an article about how a person who is a politician did this or that, I never brought politics into it!"
I'm sure you'll respond with yet another email, but try not to, try to take the very advice you demand we all follow, and not respond.

I might be wrong but I don't think Carrie was talking about you changing colors. I think she was talking about the author of the actual article, where some of it is in red in the original article to stress certain things. Again, I might be wrong but I believe that's what she's referring to.

OMG SONT YOU EVER STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMETHING I SAY?? FYI I don't highlight for any paranoid reason for anyone. I highlight or change colors for MY benefit and no one and I mean NO one else in ANY other group has complained in over 17 years AND BELEIVE ME THEY WOULD  IT WAS IMPORTANT!!!! .  Look I have trouble reading by someone that posts in red. Is it a BIG deal? NOPE . I explained why I changed it to black was because *I* had trouble reading it. Maybe you hav e perfect eyesight but I don't . I have 20/400 and FYI when I read stuff on the computer I take my glasses OFF . .

I really doubt others have complained about this as it was NOT political. No how no way and if YOU make it that way it WILL be noted.!!!!!!!
This was totally about  Megyn asking a question and Jane taking offense.
How about you just ignore my posts since it is so DISGUSTING TO YOU  All you need to do is look at the sender. If it has MY name on it. Just bypass it. DUH!!!!!
Thing is I haven't posted any objectionable crap in quite awhile so YOU felt the need to FIND something that isn't there.
FYI missy-I had someone else point out why Debra was pissed but you know what? She didn't act like I was so stupid. Yes I see why she was pissed.  . No please.  leave me the heck alone. I am not doing anything political nor offensive. stop the attacks!!!!!!

First, it's annoying as check that these writers of these things sent to this email group choose, repeatedly, to highlight phrases or change the color of words or sentences.   It's saying they reader, there is the only part you need to focus on, the only view in this article that actually matters in my opinion.    It's annoying and distracting to me, and I have asked others, they feel the same way.
But. Into the article itself, and not just the one paragraph the author has decided he or she wants readers to only focus on.
Jane Fonda had every right to shut down the interview.   She was there for a specific purpose, and it was to promote, and discuss, this film she's in.  Not any plastic surgery she has had in the past.   If Kelly wants to talk about that, then she needs to book Fonda for that purpose.
As for Debra Messing?   Seriously CG, you don't understand why she was upset?  Kelly asked a fan of the Will & Grace show if he became gay because of a fictional character.   Science, which I know many Fox viewers deny, has proven that LGBTQ isn't a choice, any more than you being heterosexual.    Science has proven this, time and again.  So for Kelly to ask that question?  Just shows how ignorant she is.   And many of her viewers, who happen to also be Fox viewers (I read somewhere today, an article, where the writer didn't highlight or change don't color any part of the article) that the core dealership of Kelly's show is projected to be Fox viewers who enjoyed her on Fox.  Maybe Kelly knows this, and is playing into their perceived (and often correctly perceived) ignorance.   But that question was just below the belt and insulting to LGBTQ people, and Will & Grace crew, as well as anyone with a brain.

I will side with Megyn on this one. Jane Fonda has talked about her plastic surgery. If I had it done and had talked about having it done I would sure have no problem talking about it. Maybe it would help someone else to decide to have it done. Maybe Megyn is going to try too hard. I know some are upset she took over and had to bump people and they are unhappy. As for Messing? I have no clue what her problem was.

Jane Fonda Snaps at Megyn Kelly Over Plastic Surgery Questions
The 'Our Souls at Night' actress lets the 'Megyn Kelly Today' host know that she's not happy for being asked about going under the knife.
Megyn Kelly's new NBC daytime program had a rocky start. Jane Fonda and Debra Messing were dismayed over the host's questions and comments on the show that premiered on September 25 to replace "Today's Take". The two actresses were among Kelly's first guests on the show.

79-year-old Jane Fonda dropped by Kelly's show along with Robert Redfor d to promote their newest film "Our Souls at Night". The actress shut down the "Megyn Kelly Today" host when she attempted to steer the conversation towards plastic surgery instead of discussing the upcoming movie.

"You've been an example to everyone in how to age beautifully and with strength and unapologetically," Kelly complimented her guest before firing off question about going under the knife. "You admit that you've had work done, which I think is to your credit. And you look amazing. Why did you say, I read that you said, you're not proud to admit you had work done. Why not?"

Fonda looked unhappy as she gave Kelly a look and said, "We really want to talk about that right now?" Kelly tried to ease the tension, "Well one of the things people think when they look at you is how amazing you look," to which Fonda responded, "Well thanks." The actress quickly added, "Good attitude, good posture, take care of myself - but let me tell you why I love this movie, Our Souls at Night, rather than plastic surgery."

In a separate appearance, Debra Messing was joined by the cast of the "Will & Grace" revival. Kelly invited a "Will & Grace" big fan on stage and asked him if he's gay because of his love for Eric McCormack's Will Truman. "Is it true that you became a lawyer, and became gay, because of Will?" she asked.

"I look at Will Truman, I'm like, 'He has it made': lawyer, best apartment in New York City, and gay? Come on, trifecta," the fan responded. After giving the fan tickets to Los Angeles to attend a live taping of the sitcom, the host said, "I don't know about the lawyer thing, but I think the Will & Grace thing and the gay thing is going to work out great!"

Messing later expressed her regret for coming to Kelly's show. When a fan asked her on Instagram why she would appear on the show, the actress replied, "Honestly I didn't know it was [Megyn Kelly] until that morning. The itinerary just said Today Show appearance. Regret going on. Dismayed by her comments."
