Re: [FunBBGroup] Big Brother

Wisconsin suddenly reopened with no warning.   Our cases have increased since.   But more cities and counties are requiring masks now, and those areas are seeing a decrease in numbers, thankfully.

It's political only because one person made it so.   But as more of that persons supporters get ill, and even die, the more they realize masks may be a good thing.

Hopefully shows and movies can start or resume filming soon.   It won't be easy though.   We all are having to learn to adapt how we do things, and humans tend to be resistant to change :).  But I'm curious if we may get a winter Big Brother, too, if this summer/autumn one is successful in terms of managing virus risks.

I know..it's so true.  It's annoying but really not that hard to wear a mask and I don't understand why it's not a thing everyone does.  I hate that even wearing masks became political...it should be a health thing but now a segment of this country doesn't believe in science or care really.  Thank goodness here in NJ our governor made it mandatory early on to wear masks in anywhere public and we got our numbers down.  We have started reopening things (although he was going to reopen indoor dining to a small capacity but changed his mind and never opened that) but i think our numbers will eventually go up again but we are mostly still wearing masks so hopefully that will help.

Maybe not quarantine staff, masks actually do work well at slowing and stopping the spread of COVID-19.   Just think, if everyone wore a mask when out of their house, maybe the world wouldn't be in pandemic mode.

Yep.....very true.  I really hope so and I feel like if everyone is quarantined then it should be fine.  I guess they'll have to quarantine staff too and they won't be able to go home?

I'm thinking there won't be elaborate comps, to minimize risks, too.   If it starts in August, it would give CBS some of the only new programming to be on the air in September and October, too.

Sure hope this is right (as long as it's safe) but Carrie, you are right, they appear to be going forward with Big Brother.  And it is going to be an all star cast and they will be quarantined before going in.  I guess it'll be in August some time as they said the quarantine and stuff will happen at the end of July.
