Story Of Soaps: ABC'S Special Scheduled to Air on May 19, Here's All You Need to Know!

ABC Networks plans to premiere a 2-hour special called "Story of Soaps" showcasing how soap operas have impacted the lives of people over the years.

This special presented by ABC and PEOPLE magazine focuses on how Soap Operas, regardless of the genre have impacted people from all walks of life. The Story of Soaps particularly focuses on how female creators have evolved from the past to now and how things are evolving for the future generations to come.

A plethora of famous actors would be featuring on the 2 hour special like- Alec Baldwin, John Hamm, John Stamos and Denise Richards to name a few. 

The Showrunners was quoted as saying that many people believe that Soap Operas only mean Daytime Soaps, however, that is not the whole story and people need to realise that.

The legacy of Soap Operas is alive and they are still extremely prevalent on television and much of the modern television has roots which trace back to the steamy thriller plotlines of the first original soaps.

"The Story Of Soaps" produced by ABC in association with the Television production of Meridith Corporation will premier on ABC network at 8 pm (PST) on May 19. We've seen explosive content come out from the collaboration of PEOPLE and ABC in the past like the special "The Story Of Diana". Let us wait and see what they've come up with this time to blow us away. All of us 'Days of Our Lives" and "General Hospital" fans cannot wait to see all of our favourite stars to come together.
