I forget which one it was, but I remember the only precautions during one of them was at the ER, if you had been to Asia, or in contact with someone who recently visited, you had to sit in a cordoned off area. That was it. Oh, and wear a face mask. And it was during an active suicide time for my son, so we were there about once a week for over a month. Never saw anyone in that area. Nor did I see anyone with face masks, except one registration woman who is against vaccinations, and was required to wear the mask in lieu of getting the flu vaccine..
This is crazy. Heck, there wasn't this degree of concern when the measles outbreaks would happen.

That's what i'm wondering. Other than the response to them or lack thereof with the coronavirus vs with the others there was much faster response and testing. But nothing shut down then and i don't remember everyone in such fear and yet there were deaths and illness with those too.

People keep saying don't panic. But I can't remember a time like this ever, and I will be 50 this year. And then local panic, people buying all the food in supermarkets. So that is a new panic.I read today there are more cases outside of China than are in China. This is insane, And I'm curious what makes this worse than SARS or H1N1, those were concerns, but nothing even close to this.
