I don't mind that it's on in May... gives us something to watch once all the other shows have their season finales the 3rd week of May.

I've always felt that CBS treated Amazing Race like the family member they have to put up with, but don't really like. They tend to schedule it all over the place, and don't promote it hardly at all, they do the bare minimum. But it still gets the ratings...for now.
