Bobby Bones, Mary Lou Retton and More Join Dancing with the Stars Cast

ABC is putting country radio personality, Bobby Bones to good use. First he served as a mentor to the American Idol top 24 when the show premiered on the network last spring. Now, Bobby is set to compete on the 27th season of Dancing with the Stars,
The radio star joins Facts of Life star Nancy McKeon, who will be paired up with fan favorite pro, Val Chmerkovskiy.
US Magazine has the scoop on Bobby and 5 more DWTS contestants which include:
Mary Lou Retton – She competed as a gymnast in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. She was the first American Woman to win gold in the all-around competition. 
Ren – An Instagram model who has also appeared in Maxim and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She  battled an eating disorder, and her mother died from breast cancer in 2013.
John Schneider – Played Beauregard "Bo" Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard series from 1979 to 1985. He's also a country singer. The DWTS stint is part of a "rehabilitation" tour. The actor was recently jailed for unpaid alimony. 
DeMarcus Ware – Former NFL outside linebacker and defensive end. He played for the Dallas Cowboys from 2005 to 2013 before joining the Denver Broncos in 2014. He retired after the 2016 season.
Danelle Umstead – A Paralympic alpine skier, she competed at the Winter Paralympics in Vancouver in 2010, Sochi in 2014 and Pyeongchang in 2018. At the age of 13, she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye condition that left her blind.
The full cast will be revealed on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 12. But as it usually happens, most of the cast will be revealed beforehand.
Dancing with the Stars season 27 is set to premiere on ABC Monday, September 24, at 8 p.m. ET.
