One of the things that is interesting about where we are in
Big Brother 20 right now is that players are starting to get anxious. A lot of the people within Level 6 (and around it) have basically spent the better part of the last few weeks just chipping away at the other side. Now that those numbers have dwindled they are going to have to think about turning on each other.
Last night, Brett started to feel that way when it comes to potentially getting Angela out of the game. His logic makes some sense in that she is someone who is well-protected by both Tyler and Kaycee in the game and he feels like there are only so many opportunities in order to remove her from the equation.
With that in mind, last night JC and Brett discussed a situation where they nominate Haleigh and Sam, only to name Angela as a replacement and try to get her out of the game. Let's say that Angela and Sam are on the block together and Brett is the Head of Household. Haleigh and JC would vote to evict Angela, whereas Tyler and Kaycee would vote to evict Sam. Brett would be the tiebreaker. The big problem here is that Brett and JC have one competition win between them so far this season; how are they suddenly going to be able to competition-beast their way through the remainder of the season? It's hard to see it happening.
Also, there's this question to consider: Do you want a better chance of winning the game, or a better chance of being in the final two? Getting rid of Angela may increase your final two odds on some level, but keeping Haleigh in the game is bad for the whole house. We feel like she has a good chance to sneak her way down to final five if people start itching to make larger moves, and if she gets to final two, she has a huge chance of winning the whole game given that she will have Rockstar, Bayleigh, Scottie (provided he's evicted), and Faysal's votes to win.
