Big Brother 20 episode 37 review: Sam Bledsoe evicted; final four HoH

Tonight, Big Brother 20 had a number of different things that it managed to bring to the table, whether it be a Veto, an eviction, and eventually the final four HoH. In this review, we want to bring as many of them to the table as possible.
Final Five Veto – This was the first thing of any real substance. This was a reasonable amount of fun, given that it revolved around a medieval-themed maze. Everyone had to locate items within it, and this required both physical skills and also mental acuity. You needed to be able to focus in order to get this done. Kaycee won, and she did it with a really impressive run of less than 6:00.

The Eviction – There wasn't really any drama around this. Sam was going to be going home from the start of this week and there was nothing that was going to change that. Sam's only real hope was that JC would make himself out to be a bigger threat — a reasonably idea in theory.
Sam handled her eviction fairly well, all things considered. She said in her post-eviction interview that she didn't feel especially hurt by Tyler. She was surprisingly self-aware and humble in her chat with Julie. This is the part of Sam we really like, and there were times we really wanted to root for her this season.
Head of Household – This is a classic game of "What the Bleep," which is always funny in an inappropriate sort of way. There's a little bit of luck here, but also some memory since maybe you really can develop some sort of recall if you pay enough attention.
The winner is … JC? Yep. It happened! Consider this the biggest surprise of the season.
