I am an American and I live overseas where Thanksgiving is not a tradition (I would say not celebrated, but all the restaurants here have jumped on the band wagon). Sometimes I do it on a Thursday and invite family, but usually we do it on Sunday when everyone is off work and can attend. This year I don't have anyone to invite so I am cooking Thursday cause I will be in the mood then and my husband and one of my son's will get the benefits...and lots of leftovers LOL.
