Adam Cunningham vs. Natalie Stovall ("Boondocks")
Natalie has actually had the chance to perform on stage before with mentor Rascal Flatts when she was singing background and playing the fiddle. Blake considers both Adam and Natalie his most accomplished artists, and that's why he paired them together. He thinks this song is a great one for showcasing vocals. Natalie reminds the country group of Carrie Underwood. Blake wishes he had Adam's gravelly voice and is now wishing he hadn't paired these two together.

For their battle, while Natalie abandons her fiddle, Adam is playing the guitar and both really belt out this tune. Jennifer calls it fun to watch and thinks Natalie is a "cool-lookin' chick" but would pick Adam. Miley heaps praise on both of them, while
Result: Adam wins and Natalie goes home
Eric Lyn vs. Ignatious Carmouche ("Unaware")
Jennifer has paired these two together because "they have very similar instruments, but they use them in two completely different ways," and she hopes they can learn from each other. Mentor Kelly Rowland says she's in love with the velvet texture of Eric's voice, but she'd like to hear more volume. He and Ignatious together makes her want to dance. Jennifer works with the two of them on harmonizing and playing off of one another.
Eric and Ignatious "battle" it out, and if there's one word to describe the performance, it's "smooth." Miley likes the way they were synchronized in their tone and in their movements. Adam worked with Ignatious before the Blind Auditions and would choose him now. Blake says Eric is the one who had the most control, so he'd choose him. The decision is left up to Jennifer, and she says vocally they're equal.
Results: Eric wins and Ignatious goes home
Ashland Craft vs. Megan Rose ("Good Hearted Woman")
Miley has paired these two together because they're the country girls on her team, and she wants to have one of everything. She chose this song for them because it's a song she and her father Billy Ray Cyrus, her team's mentor, both love. Billy Ray tells a story of Waylon Jennings sitting at his kitchen table teaching 8-year-old Miley how to play this song. He thinks Ashland is bringing a real rhythm to the song, while Megan is the total package. Miley's looking for "a real honky-tonk moment."
Ashland and Megan could cut a record together with this song -- that's how professional it sounds. Adam is still mad at both of them for not choosing him as a coach, and he considers it the best battle they've ever had. Blake remembers being blown away by Ashland in the Blinds but feels Megan evened it up here. Jennifer heard a great presence in Ashland and believes she won the battle. Miley says they both gave her a real sense of home and calls it a tough decision.
Result: Ashland wins and Blake steals Megan
In a preview of the Knockouts, the advisor will be Kelly Clarkson, the new coach for season 14. She'll be joined by Blake, Adam and Alicia Keys. But for this season's Knockouts, she'll be advising all four teams.
All of the talent in the Battle Rounds was stellar, leading to much excitement for the Knockouts and the upcoming live shows. Who are you looking forward to seeing the most? Or is it too early for you to pick a favorite? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
