I know some are probably in some other groups/facebook where I posted this yesterday as I am getting questions .My husband of 59 years passed away after 3 years of dementia . It was his heart that just gave out He was 84.The funeral is next Thursday Oct 1.We are fine and I hope no one takes this the wrong way.He worked hard all his working years retiring at age 72 . He loved fishing and went fishing alot during work years and for a few years after. He started dementia when he was 79 but was more noticeable then in 2019 he had to go to a nursing home to have 24/7 care. He would get so frustrated because he couldn't remember things, couldn't even go fishing . His year in the nursing home he was well cared for . Dementia is something you never can be cured of and only gets worse. He would not want to be that way. So Weds after a few bad days of not sleeping and not eating he then went to sleep and slept most of the day /They said he blood rate was low. On Thursday they called and said maybe we need to come visit as it might be just a matter or weeks .He just went to sleep and never woke up . It was peaceful./ At least he is at peace ad he can remember everything and go fishing with the other fishermen
