Here is something people don't like to hear though. Racism isn't only a one side or the other side issue. People of all political parties are racist. And every single one of us, whether we'll admit it or not, carry some form of racist views - not necessarily bad, but it's just human nature. Much like if you see an overweight person using a motorized shopping cart, people assume that person is lazy, never thinking beyond appearance.
I'm really hopeful that our childrens generation, is less racist than ours. And their childrens is less racist then their generation, and so forth, until there comes a time when history books can discuss this and people be in shock that it was ever an issue, much like slavery....we can't imagine, today, owning another person like property (well, most people can't). Yet less than 200 years ago? It was very much accepted. And normal. Or 150 years ago, women having the right to vote? And yet 100 years ago this August? Women in this country were given the right to vote. And now we take it for granted, and can't imagine why women weren't allowed to vote 101, 102 plus years ago.
I really hope though that the people who murder these black people who were simply....being themselves, doing normal stuff like going for a jog, or buying something at the store, are brought to justice. Because mark my words, if either group of men are found not guilty? The nation is going to erupt. It won't be just one or two cities. It will be in almost every state, if not every state.

Exactly. The rioting isn't good but I do get it. The frustration, anger and fear they have is so great and no matter what they do it doesn't stop and people just get away with doing it. And yea, they tried doing it peacefully...they tried kneeling in protest and everyone yelled and complained (and yea Trump made it a thing to divide more) so if they can't do it peacefully then now they just want to burn it all down and I just can't blame them.

After the black jogger was murdered , then this unarmed black man is handcuffed and they kneel on his neck and kill him , anger has spilled over big time . I wish the riots had not happened . But the lack of progress in race relations , and so many unarmed black many getting killed , not surprised by the riots ! This country has a long ways to go before it gets race relations correct !Heck the NFL will not sign QB Colin Kapernick cause he kneeled in protest of treatment of blacks in America !Of course trump made it worse by making it seem as if Colin was protesting the military. It was all about black relations and how many Unarmed black men have been murdered ! Trevon Martin The young kid in Florida was out right murdered and they let off the guy who did it . It is so disappointed this keeps happeningJeffSent from my iPhoneOn May 29, 2020, at 2:39 AM, Carrie Courter carriecourter@gmail.com [FunBBGroup] <FunBBGroup@yahoogroups.com> wrote:Woke up just after midnight to a breaking news alert that a police station was burning. Turned on the tv, and it reminds me of the riots after Rodney King. It is like this country has made no progress in the last 25-30 years. I understand the anger at police not arresting those 4 former officers, but businesses and apartments are on fire now. During a national shut down, worldwide shutdown. I just don't get why people would do this. It won't make the arrests of the officers happen, or happen faster.
