It was the start of the Knockout Round. The contestants will be competing against each other once again and each coach can steal one losing artist from another team. First up was Team Blake. Joei Fulco went first out of all the contestants and she got to meet a personal hero. She got to meet James Taylor. James Taylor is acting as the advisor to all the coaches during this round and he was a legend. Joei grew up knowing his name. Her father taught her all about James Taylor and so she knew her dad would be jealous of her having met their personal hero. And Joei also made sure to step up her game with her idol around.

The MMA Fighter chose the song "When Will I Be Loved". She put a country-rock spin on it and James Taylor helped fine-tune her performance. Joei went up against Levi Watkins. He was also a country-rock musician and he performed the song "I Aint Living Long Like This". The song is very outlaw country. It was all about Hard-living and fast women and so normally people wouldn't think this song would come from someone like Levi. He was young. He was fourteen. He also had this baby face and so he didn't seem like a rocker, but he was. He was great on the guitar and he was a true competitor against Joei.

Both Joei and Levi did really great. They each had a strong performance and the judges tended to commend them both. It was, therefore, a tough choice for Team Blake. He had a hard toss on who to choose and he ultimately went with Joei. She's been great more times than Levi was. Blake used that when he made his choice and sadly Levi was eliminated. No one used their Steal for him. The judges were hoarding that power for when someone truly special came along and so moving on it was Team Kelly's turn. First from her team was Megan Danielle. She performed the song "Piece By Piece" which was a Kelly Clarkson song.

Megan chose the song in honor of her grandfather. He stepped in after her father walked out on her and her grandfather helped raise her. Megan also connected to this song because Kelly wrote about her own issues with her father. So, it just all came together. Megan went against CammWess. He was a new addition to Team Kelly. Kelly Stole him during the last round and therefore tonight was the first time Kelly ever got to coach him. She coached him through the song "Say Something". CammWess saw the song as being about faith and so it helped Kelly to look at it in a different way. And with James Taylor along for the ride, CammWess gave a very memorable performance.

Megan's performance wasn't half-bad either. There was a lot of emotion in her performance and it resonated with the audience. This is what he convinced Kelly. Kelly loved seeing Megan's genuine self and so she kept Megan. CammWess meanwhile had a couple of offers. Both John and Nick wanted him for their teams and CammWess went with his ex. He went back to Team John. Team John went next with Darius Lyles and Mike Jerel. Mike loved the classic songs. He selected the song "Versace On the Floor" for his performance and it was a little more difficult than he was used to. The song seemed simple yet was very hard to tackle.

Mike received help from John and James Taylor. Both of whom loved his spin on the song because he made it sound like a classic and so he was perfectly set to go up against Darius. Darius actually chose a classic. He chose the song "Me and Mr. Jones" and practice had been a little tough because his coach wanted to hear his take on the song and not just a copy of the original. They had to mold him some. They pushed him until he sounded more like himself and he later gave a stellar performance. Mike and Darius were both great, but Darius came out ahead with the judges. The judges all felt he gave a stronger performance and it came as a surprise when John saw differently.

John didn't pick Darius. He picked Mike. He picked Mike and Darius was eliminated. No one used their Steal for him. Next up was Team Nick. He had Roderick Chambers vs Tate Brusa.. Tate selected the song "The Scientist". He grew up playing instruments and so he wanted to play the song on the piano as well as sing it. His voice had needed some work. He thankfully had his coach. Nick saw some of himself in Tate and so he helped him through his song. He told him when to go high and when to low. He even asked Tate to use falsetto at one point and so he was coached. And so was Roderick.

Nick introduced swagger into Roderick's performance. Roderick was given tips on how to perform the song and some dance moves were thrown in as well. Roderick performed "Redbone". He was so great with this song that he even had the judges getting up and dancing to him. Roderick had been great. Tate had been good. The judges spotted a difference and so did Nick. Nick went with Roderick. Tate was sadly eliminated. The judges hadn't used their Steal for him and so this was the end of the road for Tate. Up next was Team Blake. The next pairing had Todd Tilghman. The man promised his wife that if he made it to Knockouts that he would perform the song "Anymore" for her.

Todd and his wife have eight children together. So, she gets whatever song she wants. Todd gave her this performance and it had been another great one from him. Todd's voice had sounded amazing with this song. He went up against Cam Spinks. Cam performed the song "Rumor" and he sang it in honor of his girlfriend. Cam said it took him a long time to find love. There was a time when he wasn't sure if he would ever get married or find love and so his girlfriend has been a blessing. He knew he was going to marry her one day. He loved her enough to dedicate this performance to her and it had been a great performance from him.

Blake had a tough choice between these two men. He ultimately went with Todd and Cam was sadly eliminated. No one used his Steal on him. The next team was Team John. He paired Zan Fiskum against Joanna Serenko. The two young women have the same sound. They also strangely look alike and so John didn't need the two of them. He just needed one. He paired the two women together because he wanted to hear the stronger voice and he was going to select the best for his team. Zan later performed first. She chose a song about being misunderstood because she often felt that herself and so she was able to connect with the song.

Joanna chose the song "Angel From Montgomery". It was a great choice for her voice and she sounded beautiful. Joanna and Zan each picked the perfect song for themselves. They gave John a tough choice and he ended up choosing Zan because she was a powerful vocalist. And Joanna didn't have to worry because both Nick and Blake were willing to use their Steal on her.

But Joanna went with Blake because she had Nick once before and he dropped her.

THE END!
