They did say during a recent show that they live just "an exit or two down the road from each other." They weren't necessarily happy to see each other in the beginning, because of this breakup (which I never knew was an aunt... they just told us on the show it was a relative of his)... but they decided to work together anyway. At that point, the show couldn't do anything, but they should have known not to cast people that live so close together, although I'm sure this isn't the first time they've cast people that live near each other. The other side that I like (Cliff, Nicole) really had bad odds, but now they've gotten better with the six breaking apart and going after each other the past couple weeks. But now that Jackson won again, this could reduce their numbers. I wish they'd have more comps that give other people a chance to win. That thing with Holly throwing the ball down the narrowing line and getting a 50 was a fluke because it bounced out and landed there (but I think where it bounced was a pretty high number anyway). I am sick of seeing those two win and want to see Cliff or Nicole win and get them out. The only one from that side I would be ok with winning is Tommy, I guess.

And the difference too is they weren't just acquaintances. Christie dated Tommy's aunt for a long time but apparently Tommy and Christie were also childhood friends. So in the instance of Nick and Christie being on the block, there was nothing Nick could say or do to get Tommy's vote ONLY because he knows Christie out of the house. Who else can say they have that kind of protection like Tommy and Christie both have?

But that's poor casting on production's part. No one else has that kind of trust or be able to have each other's back 100% like that. Although Kat and Holly knew each other too from pageants and stuff so that was unfair as well. Holly and Jackson knew each other on instagram and had friends in common. No one else in the house had anything like that.

But was this coincidence or did BB producers know this in advance?

It's a real unfair advantage that Tommy and Christie know each other.
