Yes, Peggy Lipton was his wife and Rashida from "The Office" and also a silly detective show on TBS, I think... and she's been in movies too. Looks like her mom with dark hair. The eating of rats (yuk)... I have bad dreams about rats from time to time.

I just watched the Quincy Jones documentary on Netflix . He sure lived an interesting life . And he arranged so many albums and scored movies and such ! Toured with Lionel Hamptons Band playing trumpet at age 18. Learned how to arrange music and then Arranged music for Dinah Washington, Ray Charles , Leslie Gore, Count Basie , Frank Sinatra , Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon, Miles Davis , Michael Jackson, many many musical artists also Arranged "We Are the World" single !
Was married to Peggy Lipton of Mod Squad Fame . One of His daughters Rashida Jones has been on many tv shows and us well known actress.
He grew up in the slums of Chicago . He said he did not see a white person till he was 11 years old . He mother was committed for schizophrenia when he was a young child . His grandmother helped raise him. She would cook possums and rats they caught to eat for meals cause so poor.. He sure over came a lot in his life . Good documentary.

Natalie, I suppose you could move your group to Facebook also if you wish for more people?

I'm not really sure. Yahoo groups as a whole is dying out for the most part. Most groups i'm in are pretty slow if still going at all. Even the groups I used to be in that were so active are now not. I miss when our group was active but it doesn't seem like people have much interest in discussions anymore.-----Original Message-----

We need to find a way to get some new people in this group...
The irony is that this group was formed because we were too talkitive in the sir linkaot group but now we've gone silent here.
So how do we find and bring in some new blood?--
