From reality TV sensations to soap opera hunks!
Yep, as previously reported, Big Brother 20 fan favourites Tyler Crispen and Brett Robinson have been tapped to appear on Emmy-winning soap and the world's most watched daily series, The Bold and the Beautiful, to play their most challenging roles to date: themselves!
A stretch, we know!
Usually, former BB players hop over to B&B for a cameo but as glorified extras — think: waiter or human props — but Crispen and Robinson proved to be such a hit on the TV social experiment that B&B rolled out the red carpet for their entertaining and charming real-life personas.
The sexy and witty duo — who steamrolled through the BB game in large part due to their alliance Level Six — will appear on the sudser Wednesday, October 24.
Here's an exclusive first look at the new soap stars sandwiching Daytime Emmy winner Rena Sofer, who plays reformed vixen Quinn Forrester. (No blindsides occurred during the taping — that we know of!)
The brodudes will also appear opposite B&B newcomer and reality TV alum Keith Carlos, who won America's Next Top Model.
The Toronto Sun recently spoke with Crispen, who won America's Favourite Player and came in runnerup on the reality TV finale, and Robinson, who was an AFP finalist, about their bromances, regrets/triumphs and life post-Big Brother for an upcoming print and online edition — so stay tuned for that.
As for more acting, both Crispen and Robinson say they are game for whatever the world has to offer.
Sorry, Kaitlyn — it looks like these boys may earn a Daytime Emmy Award before you!
