It does look like her choice if she leaves but something about the whole situation where she is almost held accountable for his actions unless she publically condemns him or divorces him makes me uneasy. if a man does something wrong is the wife responsible for that as well unless she leaves him? Isn't a marriage supposed to be till death do you part and I know that isn't held to often these days but should a wife who decides she wants to adhere to those vows then be responsible for anything her husband does?
