It may have taken us more than three-quarters of
Big Brother 20 to realize it, but Kaycee may actually be more than just a winner favorite. We actually think that she could become more of a fan favorite, as well.
Think about things in this sense: Out of the members of Level 6, she's been consistently the friendliest to the other side of the game. She's never insulted anyone with regularity and she hasn't been nasty in any goodbye messages. Has she been a little boring at times? Absolutely, and she's been at times mocked and referred to as "furniture" about BB Twitter fans for not doing all that much.
Yet, the more that we think about it, the more that it's clear that her not doing too much as been the perfect strategy for her. She's known she has a close bond with Tyler and she trusts that, even if he has bonds elsewhere. She also knows that she is close with Angela and these three are the core of the Level 6 alliance. There's never been any reason to flip on that. We're also talking now about someone who has won two straight Veto Competitions and is now Head of Household — she's becoming a big competition threat at the right time where she can fight her way to the end.
This week, Kaycee is planning to nominate Haleigh and Sam for eviction — she plans to talk to Sam about it today, but Sam already has a feeling that it is coming. There's not going to be any surprise for her when it happens. (There was a super-sweet moment on the feeds overnight when Kaycee got a letter from her brother, and he asked her to be Best Woman at his wedding.)
Do we think that Tyler has controlled much of the game? Sure, but Kaycee's been close to him much of the time. She's not the best strategic winner, but when you factor in social game she may be every bit as capable a player as him. She'd also probably beat him in the final two based on the jury, and that has us wondering if Tyler's going to reverse his plan to take her.
Do you think that more of America is going to warm to Kaycee over the next week? Share in the comments!
