The Power of Veto Competition is officially underway in the
Big Brother 20 house, but leading into it, Haleigh learned some rather valuable information.
Did Haleigh pick the right person to compete in the Veto in Sam? At the time, she thought so given that Sam is the sort of person she can beat in the Veto? However, she also did this with the apparent thinking that she would be the target.
Earlier, Angela and Haleigh had a conversation where Angela relayed to her that she is not the target and she actually wants Faysal out. Therefore, it makes more sense for her to remain on the block with Faysal since he will be targeted over her. Angela's logic to her was that she should have picked someone like Tyler and Brett, who would've had a better chance of beating Fessy in a physical competition. Haleigh claims that she regrets this, but whether or not she actually does is unclear. She may just think that her winning is the most important regardless since she wants to save her own hide, and we would for the most part agree with that. We're not banking on there being a hyper-physical Veto today. We're thinking that it is one that could have punishments attached since we haven't had that in a bit now … or one that involves some sort of memory or strategy.
One reason to think that Haleigh was just being intentionally fake to Angela about all of this now is her proclamations now that she is prepared to be super-bitter at the end of the game. She's so much more aware now as to what's going on in the house and may be trying to just fight fire with fire.
Remember, Haleigh and Faysal are competing against Angela, JC, Kaycee, and Sam today.
