Big Brother 20 live feed spoilers: Faysal's white flag (day 71)

We do wish that there was a lot of great stuff to discuss today from the Big Brother 20 live feeds, but there's not.
Instead, let's discuss for a moment something that we're not seeing that is rather infuriating: We're not seeing Faysal even put in an effort to try and save himself from eviction. He's spent the last two days effectively horizontal in bed, not doing much of anything and arguing with Haleigh. He's pushing her away while heading out the door, and not doing anything to help himself in the event he wins the battle back.

In a way, we get it that he feels done and doesn't think that there is any point in trying to do something because of that. Yet, Big Brother is a game where the best never give up. We've seen great players weasel their way out of impossible situations before — by no means is he a great player, but couldn't he at least try to do something? It's incredibly boring from a live-feed perspective, and it also makes us want to root for anyone else to come back in during a Battle Back rather than him. They'll at least have a hunger to be there rather than just be in some showmance that seems to matter more than the game.

While Haleigh likely knows she is safe, at least she is going around and making some sort of effort to stay put. We'll admit that if we were a player in the game, we'd actually see Fessy giving up so easily as a sign to keep him, especially since without Haleigh around, he'd have almost no resolve whatsoever.
We'll have more news later — if nothing else, it's a chance to preview the Battle Back competition further, including who we want to see.
