One of the things that has been especially strange about this week in
Big Brother 20 is that for being on the block, Brett made very little effort to speak to the Head of Household.
Yet, that did change this evening when he and Bayleigh actually had some sort of conversation about what they could do in the game together and Brett actually made some interesting points to her. For starters, he told her that he can handle the pressure so much better than Rachel can, and his athleticism could be an advantage for her in the future.
While we don't think that this conversation is one that is really worth anything in the game at all, we do think that Brett and Bayleigh actually could be an interesting alliance if they were to keep it. For starters, nobody would expect it, and the two food feed information to each other from various sides of the house. They also don't really have a solid #1 ally given that Swaggy and Winston are both gone.
Bayleigh did agree to take his words to heart, but told him to be out there campaigning — something that technically, he doesn't have to do since he already has the votes to stay. This conversation to him was more about getting a possible ally down the road. For Bayleigh, this felt more like her taking advantage of a chance to tout herself as a worthy player in the game.
The best thing that Bay can do is to stop being Head of Household as soon as possible. Like Sam before her, the two got terrible cases of HoH-itis and were far too much in love with their own decisions than they really should be. If we were one of these two players, we would probably choose more to downplay our abilities in the game so that nobody was scared of us at all.
