I think it was probably edited out of context and taken out of the sentence it was spoken it. As in a fragment of where it was spoken. I'm sure it wasn't meant exactly how it was presented in the show. She didn't give any issue with meeting with his friends and their wives and when it came down to it she got along really well with them and liked them like you said. The conversation seemed fragmented in what was shown to me.

I know. I was surprised she would say that when he met with her friends. She seems a little snobbish but then she ended up liking his friends. But still..i was surprised she would ever even say that.
