Big Brother 20 live feed spoilers: The oven's on fire (day 64)

Well, today there was some excitement in the Big Brother 20 house — though not exactly how we expected.
Earlier today the feeds went down (they're still down as of this writing) over a fire that Brett accidentally seemed to start in the oven. Given that Brett wasn't immediately concerned about it in the aftermath of seeing it (he was just wandering around saying there was fire), it wasn't really anything to worry about in terms of the houseguests' immediate safety. Instead, this felt a little bit more like Ryan starting the fire on The Office with his cheese pita.

So why haven't the feeds come back? It's probably just so that production can assess any possible damage and make sure that everything is cleared for the houseguests moving forward. They take this sort of stuff super-serious in the house — these people still have more than a month in there (some of them do at least). They need to be able to use the oven and not worry about burning the place to the ground.

More than likely feeds will be back later — there hasn't been too much conversation and game-talk elsewhere beyond just Tyler and Kaycee reaffirming their commitments to each other. Strategically, we do still think that she is Tyler's #1 in the house … though whether or not that makes him want to take her to the end remains to be seen. With Scottie almost certainly going home on Thursday night, it's hard to take any gametalk seriously right now; much of what happens from here is really dependent on whoever the new Head of Household is.
