The week 7 Veto Ceremony has now come and gone in the
Big Brother 20 house, but the results were entirely as you would expect.
Basically, Tyler came through on his plan to use the Veto, as he had talked about going into the day. Angela is safe, and Kaycee is officially now the replacement nominee. The Level 6 alliance had done a good job making it seem like there wouldn't be too many people happy with the move, but the reality is that Tyler, Kaycee, Angela, JC, and Brett are all on board. It doesn't really matter what's going on with Scottie, Faysal, and Sam — the three other people who can vote this week. Also, remember that Kaycee can cancel out one of their votes.
In the aftermath of the Veto Ceremony, there were no huge blowups or fights. Rockstar was clearly upset, but she went outside to vent with Sam. Tyler eventually joined them, and he told Rockstar that the move was more about Haleigh targeting him more than anything that she did — she was just the only person who could take the fall for it. Rockstar then went back inside, tearfully saying "expect the expected" (a play on the original slogan) to herself. She's earned the right to be upset over going home this week — at least Tyler tried to apologize to her, which is mostly all that he can do right now. His jury management skills weren't altogether great with Bayleigh. That's something we discuss more in the video below.
In the aftermath of the Veto Ceremony, Haleigh tried to claim to Scottie like she was preparing to end the back-and-forth battle between herself and Tyler, and that it was his fault that he was keeping it going now. Yet, we know from last night that this is a lie. She wants to target him in the future no matter what and he really made the best move that he can for himself. Haleigh can't be Head of Household next week and with that, there's one less person for him to be worried about.
