Did Sam receive the first BB App Store twist of the season? In the
Big Brother 20 house this afternoon, she seemed to drop a huge hint to Tyler that she is in possession of it.
In a conversation with him this afternoon, Sam noted that "no matter what," she was going to be in the house beyond this week. She denied having the power, but it may be something that she is required to keep secret — or, she may just be trying to plant a seed about it so that it's something that she can revisit a little bit later in the future. Said seed does seem to be working, since Tyler seems to be thinking about her having the twist as more of a tangible possibility now as opposed to a few weeks ago.
We've said over the past several hours that if Sam was in possession of the power, she would probably be the least inclined to share it given that she doesn't have the largest amount of allies within the house. Being the robot has hurt her in that sense. She's almost more of a prop this week than anything — while players are able to speak with her, it's hard to forge some sort of connection with someone who is mostly a machine. The good news for her is that if she survives this week and gets back full-time as a human player in the game, she may be able to turn her fate around a little bit. For example, if there are some super-thirsty people in the game desperate for approval from America, do you think that they are really going to want to go against someone who the country loves? So long as the App Store actually forces the recipient to reveal they had it, this is something that can be considered a factor. Also, some other targets are going to continue to make themselves into that — look at Swaggy C, Winston, and Angela. These are three people who feel as though they are going to be the subject of conversation for some time.
