[BigBrother_Survivor] Sylvester Stallone Is The Latest Star To Be Accused of Sexual Assault

 

I am wondering if it wouldn't be better to not disclose this until the person has I fact been charged. Now this is out there .While it eventually goes to court or not its out there  .. And once again  this from the early 90's?  maybe 25 years ago

Add Sylvester Stallone to the long list of Hollywood stars who have been accused of sexual assault. The Rocky star has been named as the accused in an incident which took place in the early '90s and now the The Los Angeles District Attorney's office is reviewing the case. The case first came to light in November last year.

While the actor has not spoken about the reports, his lawyer Martin Singer has responded to the allegation, saying: "It's outrageous that the DA's office and PD would announce this information because it makes the public think that there's something there. My client categorically denies the allegations."

Martin claimed that the accuser was reportedly in a consensual relationship with Stallone in 1980s.

In 2016, The state of California ended the statute of limitations on sex crimes that include rape and sodomy. But the revised law applies only to crimes committed after January 1, 2017, and offenses for which the statute of limitations had not expired by that date.

After the Harvey Weinstein expose, where it was revealed that the Hollywood producer had raped and terrorized many established and upcoming actresses such as Ashley Judd, Rose McGowan and Uma Thurman - the #MeToo movement saw men and women worldwide speak about the time they have been sexually assaulted or traumatized.

Kevin Spacey, was also accused and was promptly dropped by Netflix that was producing his hit show House of Cards. Other actors who have been accused are Morgan Freeman, James Franco, director Bryan Singer to name a few. And the movement has spread to other industries - with fashion photographers Mario Testino and Bruce Weber also being accused of being sexual predators. Conde Nast, the publisher of titles like Vogue and GQ came up with a memo where they committed to preventing any sort of sexual abuse. All the models hired for the photo shoots would be over 18 years of age and any shoots that featured lingerie or semi-nudity needed approvals from the highest levels.
