Well that was fast and interesting all 24 sang and then each coach had one that was saved by the viewers .The rest have to wait .At first I thought of the 6 of each they were going to take the top 3 and the bottom 3 goes home. But nope the viewers picked and the top one was safe . The rest have to go to next round. Wonder how long they will do that? If I understand it right this will continue Tuesday and also on Wednesday

It's time for America to decide who stays and who goes home on The Voice as the Live Playoffs kick off tonight. In round one of the three-night event, the Top 24 contestants will perform for the votes of the public. The artist with the highest amount of votes on each team directly advances to the Top 12, leaving the remaining five artists from each team to compete again in round two.

Kelly Clarkson's Team

Alexa Cappelli ("It Hurts So Bad")

The Live Playoffs begins with Alexa's rendition of Susan Tedeschi's "It Hurt So Bad." Though she can easily captivate the crowd with her signature raspy voice, her performance fell a little short this time.

Kaleb Lee ("You Don't Even Know Who I Am")

Kaleb gives an emotional rendition of the Patty Loveless classic hit-- a risky song choice which results to an underwhelming performance.

Tish Haynes Keys ("Nothing Left For You")

Tish goes bold with Sam Smith's "Nothing Left For You" and it pays off. While her rendition is not flawless, it was soulful, passionate and captivating.

Brynn Cartelli ("Unstoppable")

This wasn't Brynn's best performance on The Voice but she still managed to do an impressive rendition of Sia's cover.

Dylan Hartigan ("Come Pick Me Up")

Dylan charms with his rendition of Ryan Adams' song.

D.R. King ("Home")

One of the contestants who keeps improving through time, D.R. chooses Marc Broussard's "Home," which isn't perfect but good enough to showcase his strong vocals.

Result: Brynn directly advances to the Top 12.

Adam Levine's Team

Drew Cole ("Man In the Mirror")

Drew tries to make a big impression with his Michael Jackson number but sadly he doesn't pull it off.

Mia Boostrom ("Baby I Love You")

Mia delivers some funky vibes with her Aretha Franklin rendition, which was refreshing and quite entertaining.

Jackie Verna ("Tim McGraw")

Jackie stays in her comfort zone and chooses Taylor Swift's "Tim McGraw." While she's an amazing country singer, her notes were a bit off and inconsistent.

Rayshun LaMarr ("Overjoyed")

Rayshun chooses a Stevie Wonder hit, which sadly doesn't give his voice room to soar.

Sharane Callister ("Never Enough")

Sharane gives a powerful rendition of "Never Enough" by Loren Allred and it's probably one of the best performances of the night.

Reid Umstattd ("I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For")

Reid picks the U2 classic which is probably not the best song choice but overall it was a fairly decent number.

Result: Sharane directly advances to the Top 12.

Blake Shelton's Team

Austin Giorgio ("Ain't That a Kick in the Head")

Austin stays true to his style by choosing Dean Martin's "Ain't That a Kick in the Head" for the Playoffs and though he didn't do anything out of the ordinary, it was quite enjoyable.

Pryor Baird ("I Was Wrong")

Pryor gives a solid performance of Chris Stapleton's "I Was Wrong."

Kyla Jade ("How Great Thou Art")

Kyla delivers a hauntingly beautiful rendition of "How Great Thou Art" which was full of emotion and allowed her to flaunt her vocal range.

Gary Edwards ("Finesse")

Another victim of questionable song choice, Gary picks a Bruno Mars cover and somewhat misses the mark.

Spensha Baker ("I Still Believe In You")

While this is a big improvement from last week's performance, Spensha delivery of the Vince Gill cover is extremely pitchy.

WILKES ("Brother")

WILKES gives a solid performance of Gavin DeGraw's "Brother" which gave him the opportunity to hit some killer notes.

Result: Kyla directly advances to the Top 12.

Alicia Keys' Team

Johnny Bliss ("America America")

Even though Johnny chose a Spanish-only song for the Playoffs, you can still appreciate his amazing voice. Unfortunately, it might not be enough to earn the votes.

Kelsea Johnson ("You Know I'm No Good")

Kelsea picks an Amy Winehouse hit and she doesn't disappoint.

Terrence Cunningham ("How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore")

This blind audition favorite is quickly running out of steam. He chooses Prince's "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore," which is yet another questionable song choice for the playoffs and doesn't really showcase his versitility as an artist.

Jackie Foster ("Never Tear Us Apart")

Despite being inconsistent and somewhat pitchy, Jackie slayed the stage with an INXS cover.

Christiana Danielle ("Hey Ya!")

Christiana puts her own spin on OutKast's "Hey Ya!" by slowing it down, resulting to one of those performances you either really love or really hate.

Britton Buchanan ("Some Kind of Wonderful")

Britton does a Grand Funk Railroad cover and he nails it.

Result: Britton directly advances to the Top 12.
