[Reality-TV-Fanatics] American Idol’ Sees Monday Low, ‘Supergirl’ Slips, NBC Wins With ‘Voice’

They should have thought about going up against the Voice.
Its different with DWTS- it is not a singing competition.  I can watch both and not get confused LOL. I am watching AI on Sunday then both on Monday then Voice only on Tuesday and all those singers who belongs where. I am much too old for all this stress!!!!!!!!!

American Idol' Sees Monday Low, 'Supergirl' Slips, NBC Wins With 'Voice'

NBC's The Voice (1.7, 2.93M) was No. 1 for the night, besting ABC's American Idol (1.3, 6.85M) by 31% in the demo and 2.4M total viewers. On its penultimate Monday, before becoming a Sunday-only broadcast to make way for Dancing With the Stars, ABC's singing competition reboot dropped 19% from previous Monday and tied its Monday series low in Live + Same Day, though ABC noted previous Monday's Idol adjusted up 1/10th in afternoon updates.
NBC's freshman Good Girls (1.0, 4.45M) took 10 PM in the demo;  it was the night's No. 1 scripted show in that metric, while S4 finale of CBS's Scorpion (0.7, 5.12M)  took over at 10 in total viewers.

CBS comedy slate Kevin Can Wait (0.9, 5.29M), Man With a Plan (0.8, 5.09M), Superior Donuts (0.8, 4.52M) and Living Biblically (0.6, 3.54M) stayed steady, week to week. Ditto Fox's Lucifer (0.7, 3.17M) and The Resident (0.9, 4.29M).
Supergirl (0.5, 1.90M) returned slightly weaker to CW's slate, though it's performance at 8 PM helped breathed some ratings live into iZombie (0.3, 850K) compared to previous week.
NBC (1.5, 7.64M) won the night among Big 4 networks in both metrics, including six of six half hours in the key age bracket. ABC (1.1, 5.96M) finished most closely in both. Fox (0.8, 3.73M) finished third in the demo while CBS (0.7, 4.78M) took that honor in total viewers. CW (0.4, 1.38M) followed.
