It just doesn't seem to be the same as the first season. I liked the tattoos and then they figure out what it means. They need to get back to that. I probably will just suffer thru it . maybe something will break and it gets back to what it was

Hubby and I were catching up the last two eps last night and I mentioned that I was a bit bored with the show.  I enjoy it but it lost it's way after the first season.  Last season was a disaster in my opinion.  This season is another head scratcher since we just don't know the end games.  I think that is what is turning off a lot of viewers...the end game.  The tattoos have taken a back seat so the mystery surrounding them is now just a passing thought.  Before it was a puzzle to be solved and now it's an afterthought.  I like a good mystery and trying to figure out where an episode or even season is going but it's just all over the place.  They just don't give enough info.

And OMGerd Weller needs to man up a bit.  His change is nauseating.  He's whiny and crying and begging and it's totally out of character.  The story line with the other gal being pregnant and having the baby then moving away seemed like it was a bad idea from the start and now they changed it all up so it's like it never really happened and that it doesn't affect lives at all.  Jane has cheated?  Patterson keeps losing boyfriends?  Reade has always been intense but now add a little naive and stupid for his position.  His GF is a head scratcher too, is she who she says she is?  Zapata is in love with him and why that story line even needs to be there I don't know.  To be honest I'm enjoying Roman's scenes more thank anything else although I would like to know the end game for him.  Why is he doing all of this?  What is the purpose of it all?  I see spin off for Roman if Blindspot goes bye bye.  His character is the most interesting and most intelligent.

I like Blindspot. I just don't know how popular it is I would like to see it renewed

Keep or Cancel: Will a Blindspot season 4 renewal happen at NBC?

In today's edition of our ongoing Keep or Cancel article series, we're putting the focus on an NBC series in Blindspot that brings a lot of greatness to the table. There are really not all that many other shows out there quite like it. It comes some of the classic elements of a crime procedural with relentless action, mystery, and almost a touch of science fiction with the glowing tattoos. There's always something to speculate over, and there's always a reason to watch live.
Unfortunately, just because there is a reason to watch live does not necessarily mean that every person out there does. This is a show that is currently on the bubble — it's got a ton of action and we know that doesn't come cheap. Meanwhile, we also know that it's not fully an in-house show and that can often hurt with major networks. There are many things working for the show, but also a couple of others working against it.

Let's start here by discussing what we think is working well — the creative. Blindspot is one of those shows that does deliver a number of big surprises, but doesn't necessarily do them at such a rapid pace that you feel as though it's exploiting them. They make sense to this world and to some of these characters. The characters themselves are absolutely another reason why it works, and with getting more Rich Dotcom and the whole Avery mystery this season, we feel like it's fair to say that things have gone up to another level.
Yet, here is the show's problem at present: The ratings. We're sure that NBC anticipated the numbers to slip in the move to Friday night, but by this much? Blindspot is down more than 30% in live 18-49 viewers versus the second season, and is drawing in total a 0.7 rating. It could be worse given the timeslot, but it's routinely being defeated by MacGyver and it is performing worse than any other hour-long show airing on NBC Monday-Thursday. The only series it is beating right now is Taken..

Our prognosis for now

Blindspot, despite the ratings slide, will probably get another season just because we don't quite know what NBC wants to put there that will actually perform better. We do think that it does need some sort of shot in the arm to get past season 5, though, whether it be a really shocking twist or some big-name guest stars who will draw new viewers into its world.
