That and swimming.  I never understand how people go on Survivor and can't swim! Or how people go on The Amazing Race and can't drive a stick shift! It's going to come up every show.

So I guess they are saying the twist was there before Ben lost the final comp. That is Jeff Probst's story and he is sticking to it!
It will be used again next year, so maybe it was a tweak they had thought up before !
But I can say if you do not practice your fire making skills ahead of time , before you start on the game .... you are not serious about winning !
