Not only do women lose their jobs, their careers, they are also judged, if they do come forward, on their appearance.  Look at some who have been accused in the last 2 years.  One's main defense was he wouldn't have hit on any woman that looked like several of the accusers.  I'm hoping more women find their voice and can finally feel safe coming forward, and that new victims from even this year are feeling safe to come forward, so that hopefully, one day, this is just a horrible part of history.

Read this article and maybe you will get understand why sexual harassment was seldom reported in the past.  It usually ruined a woman's career if she reported it.
