I was really surprised when nobody stole Maharasyi! But I so think Davon will go pretty far in the competition. I don't see a clear winner yet either but I think maybe the guys are stronger than the women this season. But then again with Blake you never know he truly can win with anyone! I am hoping Miley or Jennifer win this season!

I
wish they wouldn't short singers their time. The montage
where we just saw the winner not fair to the
singers.Glad
to see Adam steal Dennis both were good.Still;
have no favorites yet.cg
'The
Voice' Recap: The Battle Rounds Get Intense as Adam
Steals a Singer

There were plenty of steals
during the first night
of the Battle
Rounds of The
Voice, and at the end of the episode they promised the
"most unexpected
steal of the season," so it should make this episode
very interesting, as if the
Battles aren't exciting enough with Kelly Rowland, Joe
Jonas, Rascal Flatts and
Billy Ray Cyrus as advisors.
Davon
Fleming vs. Maharasyi ("I'm Your Baby
Tonight")
Coach
Jennifer Hudson's pairing trips over themselves walking
in the door once they
see Kelly. Jennifer paired them up because they're both
soulful artists and will
complement each other. Kelly admits that she auditioned with
this song for
Destiny's Child and chose the song because it will be
kind of like going home
for Davon. In fact, he owns the song so much that he's
not leaving room for
Maharasyi. Kelly loves that she can go to all these places
with her voice in the
song, though.
In their battle,
Davon sings the song just as smoothly as he was expected to,
and Maharasyi does
her best to carve out her own space in the song. What Miley
Cyrus loved most was
the entertainment of it all. Adam
Levine would have to choose Davon because "he's a
force of nature." Blake
Shelton thinks they're both worthy of being four-chair
turns in that
performance. Jennifer tells Maharasyi she sounded amazing
and believes Davon's
love for Whitney Houston shone through.
Result:
Davon wins, and Maharasyi goes
home.
Brandon Showell vs. Hannah Mrozak ("Cold
Water")
Adam
thinks both Brandon and Hannah can do it all. Adam is taking
this
pop song and "twisting it on its end" to give the
audience something different.
Joe thinks Hannah is a fantastic singer and thinks
Brandon's runs are
incredible, wanting to steal some of his voice for himself.
Hannah
starts off the song a little shaky but then finds her groove
with it, while
Brandon finds his right away. Blake explains that every time
he thought one of
them was pulling ahead, the other one would catch up, but
he'd probably go with
Hannah. Jennifer thinks it seemed like a perfect duet but,
if she has to choose,
would go with Brandon. Miley agrees with Blake that
they're both even. Adam also
finds them dead even.
Result:
Hannah wins, and Brandon goes
home.
Montage: Dave vs. Dylan, Esera vs. Rebecca,
Chloe vs.
Ilianna
Dave
Crosby
and Dylan
Gerard perform "Doctor My Eyes," with Dylan
winning the
battle. Esera
Tuaolo and Rebecca
Brunner battle with "This I
Promise You," and Esera
advances. Chloe
Kohanski and
Ilianna
Viramontes cover "I Am Woman," with Chloe
being
chosen.
Dennis Drummond vs. Mitchell Lee
("Mr. Jones")
Blake
pairs these
two because they're Nashville guys but more rock, and
gives them this Counting
Crows song because it fits each of their styles. They're
told by Rascal Flatts
they should try to harmonize a little more with the song,
but Dennis needs to
figure out how to sing lead and not just let Mitchell take
it, and he takes the
advice and runs with it, whereas Mitchell is getting a
little too confident.
During
their battle, they both give it everything they've got,
with two
definite lead singers. Jennifer tells them they're
captivating and wants to go
to their concert whether they're together or not but
would go with Mitchell.
Miley thinks Dennis is fun to watch with his footwork but
would still go with
Mitchell. Adam thinks Mitchell is more in Blake's
wheelhouse, but Dennis is a
wild card. Blake says this is the closest battle he has this
season.
Result:
Mitchell wins, with Adam stealing
Dennis.
While
it's exciting for Adam to steal Dennis, it's not
"unexpected." All of the coaches remark on how
great he is and he's definitely
in Adam's wheelhouse, so it doesn't seem too
"unexpected."

you see that one
coming all along? Let us know your thoughts in the comments
