I agree. I have an issue with the work being put into songs except non poc are not supposed to say it. Crazy situation. 

That's exactly what I think too. She wasn't saying it in a racist way or calling someone that. She was singing lyrics and that word is in the song. This is one I have a hard time understanding, that if a black singer chooses to use it in his song and yet a white person is wrong for singing it. That's a tough one for me.  I personally won't say or sing that word but i don't see Kaitlyn as racist since she was singing.

But I am sure she was not thinking when she did it .  Different than using the N word in a regular sentence to describe a black person!

Exactly. 

 

I think if people get upset, it should be at Drake for including it in his song, not at the public for singing it along with him.  Her choice of music leaves a lot to be desired in my own personal opiinion, but still..... it's part of a song that Drake sang.  How many of those outraged have sung objectionable song lyrics themselves?  Probably most.
