After being on ventilator so long she can not speak right now . Will have to have physical therapy to try to speak again . It is quite incredible she made it after being on the ventilator that long .

The latest on my wife Jill's friend (Kathy ) is they have successfully gotten her off the ventilator and she is breathing on her own .
She was on a ventilator for 14 days . Usually if you are on a ventilator that long you do not make it .
So she is weak but she is breathing on her own and doctors feel good about her chances now ! 👍 she is a fighter and very much wanted to live . Her husband is thrilled,
Yay!!! Yippee! She is off the ventilator!
