I'm in a variety of Facebook groups that cover the political spectrum (I love seeing issues presented from different viewpoints). It blows my mind how many in these groups - on both sides, but mostly on one political side - think this isn't a big deal. We had like what, a thousand deaths here alone yesterday? And worldwide, over a million infected, over 50,000 dead so far... and this has only been going for 4 months!!! And the bulk of those numbers have been in the last 2 weeks!

I'm staying put. My son is staying put. He is only going out to the store for when we need something. Otherwise, we are just staying put. Which is normal for us though, to be honest. I do hope you are all staying safe :)

It frustrates me that some people still look at this as a media/political overreactinn. Look outside of the USA and around the world. Every single country is doing the exact same thing. but I guess sometimes it is easier to blame politicians and media (and I don't really like either of them anyway) then to realize that this thing is a big freaking deal to the whole world.

Exactly. It can't stop spreading because people still think this is no big deal. It's crazy. Half this country doesn't believe main stream media and the one station i won't name gives out so much false info that everyone was believing them. Now they are telling some truth but still not enough.
